Thank you very much for sharing the review of china Southern Airlines...I really wanted to check how its like to travel with china Southern Airlines from Brisbane and already had the feelings that how one can deal with long layover at Guangzhou airport without any Halal food options..so Alhamdulillah you made it clear that we need to be prepared for this long stopover accordingly.
Comparatively china Southern Airlines is more economical than Emirates and other gulf airlines, although there is a little hassle of long layover but considering the amount one can save on airfare along with huge checked in luggage allowance of 54 kg which is amazing and against this attractive offer Long layover is manageable..I have had a very bad experience of travelling with Emirates and decided that I will never travel again with Emirates, they are only good with true blue Aussies and other caucasians...... thanks again ❤

You can select language option on the website or else get their helpline number and call them. They are very cooperative. I booked over the phone

Sister plz tell me If we have commercial hair oil in our check in luggage should we have to declare it?
If its written in the form to declare oil, then do it. If you declare honestly, they don't check your luggage most of times. And if you don't declare and they find something in scanner, they will trouble you then. Whatever you are bringing, declare in the form.
Do you need a transit visa for china if going via china southern airlines?? Can you tell reply will be appreciated
If your layoveris more than 24 hours, you need visa. Less than that is fine..
How was the entertainment system? Can you connect your airpods with the entertainment screen?
No you can’t. They provide you headphones..

thanks, it was quite informative. can you please inform me if China airport shopkeepers accept AUD or USD or id have to keep Chineese currency for 2 hours transit? Also do they accept cash (AUD) in flight for meals etc?
I also have 2hrs transit in China. When are you traveling?
Some of the shops accept USD but you should have some Chinese currency to be on safe side.. Additionally, you should focus on your next flight because two hours are pretty short time. Some people do miss flight too. I haven't seen anyone paying in flight for anything. Hope it helps

I agree Emirates is overrated, their tickets are expensive then they charge for seat selection too. Flight was probably full because they usually have cheap fares.

They are not obliged to but depends upon attendant, he/she lets you go sometimes..
