- In this vlog, I study as I prepare for my GI/Pulmonology/Metabolism final medical school exams! EEEEEEK!! But we got this 🧑🏼💻🎧✨
If you don't already know me, my name is Ethan, and I am a first-year med student here at UCLA. In addition to being a full-time med student, I'm passionate about community-building, public health, and writing. Also, as part of my quest to live simply and minimally, I live out of a self-converted campervan! 🚐🤠
I have three goals with these weekly videos:
1. To inspire future generations of young people
2. To reflect deeply on my new life as a medical student and grow into a more compassionate, disciplined, and intentional individual
3. To capture my experience and share it with family and loved ones back home
If you want to join me on this journey, please support this project by liking, commenting below, and sharing the video with someone you think will benefit. It would mean so much to me :)

I would love to hear John’s story. Have you talked about that on your channel? He is clearly a non-traditional student and that’s always interesting to hear about
100% agree
Jon is a role model of mine and generally just a really inspiring and genuine human. With his permission, I hope to help share more of his story soon.
We love Jon! Such a great personality
I look forward to your vids every week - really appreciate the consistency! Great vid as usual
Aww thank you, Prachi
I live in Westwood and I saw you videoing one day when I was coming out of Ralph's. I would love in-depth interviews of your journey and that of your classmates.
Filming Advice: Turn off HDR is not need it. Plus is much easier to edit on a computer if you do. One more thing is not related towards filming with your phone Sweetgreen is my favorite restaurant.
Thanks for the advice! Sweetgreen is great, but a bit expensive :/
Thanks for posting Ethan, love your videos and you are lucky to have friends and classmates like the ones you have, take care🌼
So glad you enjoy them!! and you're so right I am really really lucky :)
Hi, love your videos. Watching from India. Good luck with your exams
Thanks so much for the good luck wishes! :)
Hey Ethan, awesome video. Keep exercising and sleeping well. Take care
Tim, you're the man! Thanks so much.
How old is john? I’d really like to hear his story
Love these! I wish i could do the van life as a vet student. Too bad i have a dog lol
Aw thanks so much for watching! I see lots of vanlifers with dogs or cats ;) but it's definitely tricky as a student
@@ethanliebross i have too! i truly appreciate the simplicity of it but hey maybe when i graduate :)
@@ManjarithePandicorn that's exactly why i do it :) definitely recommend trying it out, even if it's just for a weekend adventure
@@ethanliebross thats such a good idea! ive heard of a few air b and b's who do it! i've been living in the same city for undergrad and vet school and ive accumulated so much stuff, i have this urge to just give everything away and do van life lmao
Love your consistency
Thanks so much
Great video as always!
My number one fan lol. THANK YOU!!!
Hi Ethan, good luck with your finals! You're gonna crush them! Just wondering if you are planning to take your step 1 after ms1 (before clerkships) or after core clerkships?
Hey! Thanks for the good luck wishes. I still don't know exactly when I'll take step. I think in the next few months I'll start getting more serious about my step 1 studying and take it from there.
You kinda look like troye sivian idk if anyone has mention that on here before lol
Haha I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks so much :)
@@ethanliebross it is haha!
