I wanted to asked about the length of your bus and size of your bed. . I will be hitting you up about the roof deck! ✨I have a Ford E-450 Super Duty shuttle bus with Wheelchair doors in the front name Octavia 🎈 Thank you so much and hope to see you on the road in the future🚎
I like the layout of your bus. If you add insulated window covers for all of the windows when you park your will be able to more evenly heat and cool the bus as the windows greatly affect the inside temperature throughout the year and depending on where you are it can be a game changer. Plus it gives you more privacy at night and during the day especially when taking a shower or changing clothes because you probably aren’t aware of just how much people outside can actually see what’s going on inside. I look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Thanks so much for the comment, and yesss. Prior to our departure we didn’t realize just how much the windows would effect the inside temp. We’re planning on doing something similar to what you suggested, or possibly reflectix in the very near future. 😊
@@MilesandLala Make a sandwich using the reflectx and a layer of batting and a fabric you like to go with your interior color scheme or reflectex and a quilted fabric normally used when making blankets. Walmart and any fabric store carries it. The layer of batting will add to the R value of the window cover. A name brand fabric store would also have lots of upholstery fabric which is more heavy duty and will hold up longer than other fabrics. A remnant shop is a great place to get quality fabrics for much less money.
Love that driver/ passenger seat! I'll definitely be copying that idea! Awesome layout I love what you've done in the entrance. Actually lol, I'll probably have to copy all of it! 😉💖
There were metal gutters running along tops of the windows, but even after painting them and reinstalling them they sat very oddly on the bus and we’re actually catching water behind them, so we did away with them and instead bought some flashing like you would see on a house.
How many feet between the back of the seat to the rear door please? I'm trying to decide what size of bus I need to fit everything I want.. I adore your build 😍
You two have done a beautiful job, I’ve looked at a lot of conversions. How long is the skoolie (without back deck)? Thank you for sharing it with us, safe and fun travels.
Well, we looked at a lot of other buses on Instagram to get to gauge what we thought would work for us, and another thing we kept in mind was length restrictions at some of the national parks, and ease of parking/driving. With all of that info we decided just under 30 would be the right fit for us.
@@MilesandLala thank youuuu! I've always been curious bc my bf is 6' 7" and I've been trying to convince him to do van life, but he said he has to be able to stand straight up! thanks for replying! I am going to tell him its exactly 6ft 7 in anyways HAHA
What a beautiful bus!❤👍
Wow what a great conversion! So beautiful inside and out!
Leave her wild recommended.....def subbed!
amazing tour, literally obsessed with shuffle conversions and yours is in my top faves!
Thank you thank you!
Awesome Bus. I especially like the multi-power system. Always good to have options and then back-ups for those options. Excellent job.
I love the flow of your tour. So organized
Thanks so much. 😊

@@perfectpeacetaichi1232 the bus itself is 24.5 feet bumper to bumper and we have a queen size bed. Feel free to ask us anything, anytime!
I love this rig! It's the best looking shuttle bus I have seen thus far. Enjoy and safe travels!

I like your entry way
Thank you for sharing your creative bus build! I’m currently building a shuttle bus conversion.
How did you go about making the roof top deck?
Nice Bus good build Guys enjoyed the video tour. Good luck with your Journeys - Laterz Leland
Very nice
Heck yeah congrats yo!
Thanks! Still learning about best practices for recording videos but it’s been a fun process. 😊
Beautiful conversion! I was wondering if the rainguards over your side windows were stock, or if you added them. Thanks!

Thank you very much! The bus is 24.5 without the deck, 28.5 with.
I was curious about mounting solar panels/ roof deck on a fiberglass roof. I want to use a roof rack but I don't know how realistic that is
Awesome Vlog, Couple Questions tho, What Year is Your E450 and What is the Length of the Bus🚌
The year is 2002 and the length before the back deck is 24.5 feet. Length with deck is 28.5 feet.
Hey guys. How'd you determine what size bus was good for you
