I have a little question, my store is not live yet so it's password-protected and I prefer to keep it like that for now, would it be better to connect it to google search console only when the store is live and I remove the password? Or does it make sense to follow your instructions now and to put back the password while the store is not live? Thank you un advance.

Greeting, I viewed another video before I came across yours and I am very disappointed in the last video that someone else posted explaining how to setup google search console, it caused me to put in the wrong information and now I need to make correction and don't know how too get the HTML tag information from my google console to put into my store theme. How can I correct this era?

You will need to remove the the initial code that you added.

When I entered my URL it said my HTML tag was already verified... Do I still have to edit the code of my website? I went through this process (minus adding the tag as it said it was already varified) a couple weeks ago but I'm still have issues getting my website indexed by google.

Hey Mate, its the domain verification, you can still go to "Settings" - User Verification - "Click HTML Tag" and proceed with what Stewart shows. Hope it helps.

This just means you can analyse your website search performance on Google.

When I press verify it says Ownership verification failed. Failure reason: we couldn’t find your verification meta tag
