How do I check where the page is redirecting. I don't mean to be so simple. However, in one day your Google Search Console training has helped me understand my website performance and problems. I have been searching for help for 3 years! Your training is a light bulb moment for me. So I will keep asking questions no matter how simple they may seem. Thank you.
I sat through the entire lecture. Gteat Stuff. I have been building econmerce eebsites and blogs since 2005. I think you have all the primary onsite optimization sertings down packed. I would add increasing the amount of time visitors spend on your site, loading speed, internal linking, easy to read content as some of the other onsite optimizations to talk about on your next video. Thanks for taking the time to educate a lot of people about the magic behind SEO.
Thanks, I meant that if I am in Dubai but targeting traffic in the USA. the position indicates my position in Dubai? If I want to target traffic in the USA, do I need to vpn my location to USA to get the accurate position? Or set up my google account to be in the location that I am targeting? I checked incognito window, but my url does not show up in the search results.@@StewartGauld

Your subscription btn is not showing on mobile. I see you have it inserted in video. Aa a user on mobile phone its small btn. I yhink easier to have it up front below video. Very good video on console. 👍

How often should we all be doing this? You said that you dive into search console every friday and optimise the post with the keywords that you find are trending in search console. Does this mean that we should be optimising the same website pages once every week?
Hey! This really depends on how much content you are publishing. You should only if you discover new keywords that you could rank those pages for (that you have recently optimized).

Only one quesitons, you metioned should choose those high impression with low CTR rate keywords for the meta and content, but what if there are already top ranking keywords for the page. Should you just keep the meta, cause it's well performed with the top ranking keywords (if you change the meta, then the top ranking will drop) ; and just optimize the content by adding extra content. If my understanding is correct? Thanks in advance anyway!
Hey! Yes correct. If you are already performing for target keywords then, leave the post alone or optimize it further with the keywords that you are ranking for.

I don't have the drop-down in GSC under the performance tab that says Google Results like what is showing on your screen. It just shows up as a performance. I added my site to GSC in either 2022 or 2023. Would you happen to have a solution to add it or does it matter?
Hello, nice tutorial. I was wondering if the capitalization in words when optimizing a page to get a higher position affects? For example, if let's say I see many people are getting impressions from the word "dog" and I decide to put "Dog", "DOG", DoG" etc. in my page, I want to know if those words still count to help my page get a higher position when people search for the word "dog". I hope I explained myself😅 English is not my first language.
@@StewartGauld The reason I am asking is because the query I receive most clicks from is the name of my business, but they type it in all lowercase and in my page the name is capitalized so I don’t know if I should change the name in lowercase in my page to optimize it. Also strangely when people type the name of my business in google the position of the page is 8 so I want to raise the position.

Regarding GSC can you please do a video about how to add canonical urls when Google says that a post can't be indexed. I did make the big mistake of editing an unalready published post and changed the dates on the permalink and publishing times as I wished to start over in terms of regular posting.. Now, I just need to know how to add the canonical information.. gosh, am I making sense? 😅 I am using Elementor hosting and WordPress...

The difference is in how you engage in SEO. The technology itself wont impact the results.
why does my google search console doesnt have the list of CTR and Position ? It only has Top queries, Clicks , impressions.
You need to click on the option above to display those metrics.

It can look spammy to searchers. So, unless you are trying to emphasise a word, it will not help your rankings.
