    I bought this toaster for my wife, and she loves it. I didn’t tell her how much it cost.
    For those who bellyache about its price, there are flea markets and, of course, Walmart.

    I love mine. It's a pleasure every day. I'd rather have fewer, nicer things that last. This is that. Worth it.

    I just bought one from Amazon, and it was nearly $100 cheaper than the price on other sites like Macy’s.

    I'm not sure how you got one with the "keep warm" button. That seems to have been replaced by a "one slice" button. UPDATE: I just called Wolf, and the latest model has indeed replaced those buttons. "Keep warm" is no longer an option.

    Over $400 and it does not toast evenly. Does not seem like a good toaster to me. There are better toasters on the market as a fraction of the cost.
    Thank you for the review. Great work.

      I didn't spend that much on it but I agree 400.00 it ludicrous.

    Thanks for the review. Its funny that your husband will let you buy a $400 toaster, but not a $1 for a few slices of fresh bread to test it.

      Haha! Firstly, he didn't "let" me buy it but he supported my decision :). Bread ain't cheap yo!

    Nice presentation! but the price for this toaster is a little extreme? I would expect for that price range to have automatic elevator for the toast.

      Haha I know what you mean! I did get it on sale. I think I went on a Covid bender with my kitchen!

    The reason the elements don't glow is because Marketing ordered the engineers to use LESS Nichrome wire than the should so they made it tight and being up against the backing mateiral the wire loses its heat into the backing.

    How’s yours doing.

    I’ve had this toaster for several years. I bought it because it looked great in a new kitchen. Unfortunately it’s the worst toaster I’ve ever had. It toasts slowly, poorly, unevenly, … I’m moving it to storage and replacing it with another appliance … if you want results, you will be most disappointed … but it does look good as a static display.

    The bottom construction that holds bread pieces looks really strange. It seems like if the bread is not a perfect square shape, it will fall through. Correct me if I am wrong about this. Very unfortunate design flaw for a four hundred dollar toaster...

    thanks for the review. love my wolf stove. but for the price of this toaster, considering it is made in China, and totally uneven toasting, i won't be buying this. thanks

    Wondering how long it takes for you to toast the bread. Mine takes 5 minutes which I find strange?!

      @shanicochrane5040  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Never really thought about it. Seems like normal times to me. Mind you, I am usually cooking things when waiting for the toast.

      for $400 us dollars it better be damn near instant imo. LMAO and it burned her toast LOL!!!

    • @moelo5930
      @moelo5930 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Isn’t the time based on how well toasted desired?

  • @nicholasfaber9695
    @nicholasfaber9695 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    so it does the same thing as a normal toaster but instead you pay $400

      Giant Tiger makes purses, they hold stuff. So does Coach. One you pay 10.00 for and the other 250.00. What is your point? But to answer your question, Yes it does the same thing as a normal toaster that actually works well, which I have been unable to find (bought 3 toasters I had to get rid of so far due to crappy toasting).
