Just ordered my first. A lot of scope manufacturers recommend 18 inch pounds for ring torque. All ways check first.

how do you tell if the scope is vertically in line with the rifle when you mount it? you would have to make sure the rifle is level and the scope is centered, not really sure how you would do that effectively

Nevermind the wedge goes hard up against the flat bottom therefore leveling the scope
