If you don't mind me asking how long was your season and how much money did you take home after taxes? I heard stuff like you can make 15k in 2 months.
13.00 if new 15.00 experienced but it really depends on if the season if good or not. You only work when there’s fish and we went a month and a half without really work. So you might take home $5000 on a good season but it may be higher.
@@vivaeuropa you better be ready to work 16 hour every day once the season is in full swing. It’s doing the same thing all day so if you have a skill like electrician then try doing that because you’ll make more money plus get better treatment. Other than that you bout to be in the fish house working like hell.
Looks like your coworkers accept you filming them. After awhile they will forget you're even there filming, then you'll really get some nice, candid footage.
I worked in EGIGIK too. I'd run to the chow hall and run back it was so crowded😊 I'd wanna get in line fast so not be standing out in the cold for 20 minutes in line with 5 to eat.

Ranchero sauce in a can was one of the things I was going to send my buddy up there because you can put it on any eggs and just pig out, it’s so good. My next question is if you had a relative or friend that was going to send you a package, what would you want in it? What’s hard to get or super expensive up there?
