1. This is not suitable for the tank bcz motor will turn on immediately after water leaves the second wire, You will need a SR latch to keep the motor on until water reaches tank top and don't turn in until water reaches bottom.
2. Copper is very reactive to water, corrosion will start immediately and your wires turn to copper oxide within a day. Use steel, bronze or aluminium nails or connector at the end of wires to make them water resistant..

use a momentary switch for switching on the motor. jb paani full ho jaega toh relay motor ko bnd krdega jb paani ka level neeche chala jaega toh manually momentary switch ki madad se uss motor ko on krdo.

Bro...video is nice.... but problem is that everytime motor gets on when the water level gets low....i hope designing a schmitt trigger is the best one.... it's my opinion... but overall the video is excellent

JESSE EVANS BARATAM obviously it do not kill the requirement of turning off and on the motor switch, it just cuts when upper limit is achieved and stops the wastage of water (wastage till we get that tank is full and turn off the motor)

U showed that bulb becoming ON while water decreases.........so its mean when water level decreases motor will ON again itslef.............which will take so much electricity.........but v want the solution that v can save the water when water tank become full n motor goes of itself automatically then water level come at very low level motor again become ON........or notify via any alarm abt the very low level of water.......so v can power ON the motor mannually......

आप की किशश बहोत ही अच्छी है ,परन्तु इस डिवाईस को बनाने से हमारी मोटर खराब जल्दी होंगी, क्योकि इस डिवाईस को लगाने के बाद टंकी मैसे थोड़ा सा भी पानी काम लेने से मोटर फिर से चालू हो जायेगी ये क्रम चलता ही रहेगा और मोटर जल्द खराब हो गयेगी

Mean when the water in the sump gets empty motor must not ON.....if the water in the sump is available then only mother should get on if no water motor cannot ON...... This idea can be used but but using float switch operated at 6 to 24v dc

when ever the tank water drains-out to the level of two probes, the motor may strat. Well. But, the motor would start for every usage of 1 to 5 liters of water for the overhead tank so that the motor will on and off for every 5minits. So what solution would you give for starting of motor after total empty of the tank?

Great project. One thing I noticed though is that when the wires stop touching the water, the bulb turns back on. Thus if it was a pump attached, it'd turn back on when water level goes below the electrode point. Can we make it such that once it's turned off, it stays off

In this circuit the tank needs to be filled all the time.. otherwise the motor will be turned ON when the tank water level goes slightly decresing..
Do something like when the tank goes full turned OFF the motor and when get water level low turned ON motor automatically...

does the relay has the capacity to take the current (Amps) maybe it will burn the relay if you don't use contactor
