To be able fly, let alone own a legendary aircraft like the Waco that was designed in the hay day of early aviation and flown by the likes of Billy Mitchell, Roscoe Turner, Amelia Earhart and Jimmy Doolittle is just mind blowing! I wish the owners of this reborn aircraft company nothing but success with their Modern day version of an aviation legend.

7:54 At this point, the main gear wheels are still extended and protrude from bottom of the floats, just ahead of the aft float struts. There are also two smaller wheels on tips of floats.

We saw this plane on the ramp when we flew into GIF last year. The kids were so excited about it! I also photographed it on lake Winnebago last AirVenture. Such a beautiful plane!

My wife and I went up in a biplane in Key West a few years ago. Great fun! Highly recommend it. I was surprised at how many wrecks you could see flying over the ocean offshore.

planes or boats? I wouldn't mind diving them, maybe Bobby and Laura will do a sail over these wrecks and check them out. Five US Navy Avengers we lost off the west coast of Florida, they should rent one of these bi-planes to try and locat them from the sir, Man1 wouldn't that be a trip. Someone said they once : Maybe the ''Bemuda Triangle just swallowed them up! Yuk! a sad thought! LOL
Flight 19 was the designation of a group of five Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers that disappeared over the Bermuda Triangle on December 5, 1945, after losing contact during a United States Navy overwater navigation training flight from Naval Air Station Fort Lauderdale, Florida. All 14 airmen on the flight were lost, as were all 13 crew members of a Martin PBM Mariner flying boat that subsequently launched from Naval Air Station Banana River to search for Flight 19. The PBM aircraft was known to accumulate flammable gasoline vapors in its bilges, and professional investigators have assumed that the PBM most likely exploded in mid-air while searching for the flight. Navy investigators could not determine the exact cause of the loss of Flight 19.

So glad I came across this video! My Grandfather was a flight mechanic on the B-17s during WWII in the Army Air Corps and I have always been fascinated by air travel and planes in general. This is a beautiful plane and I enjoyed the video and the commentary from the COO. Laura is a beautiful woman and compliments the plane perfectly! Would love to fly in one of these over Miami! Please post more videos!

What a gorgeous aircraft, and a great job of them bringing back a piece of history. Imagine how much fun one of those would be in say the Bahamas? Also Finally Laura is in a FD's! It is to bad it was such a windy day, and no water landings..but that's the nature of life, and still got to see these amazing craft in action.

My dad was quality control/inspector (not sure of his official title) around 83'-85'. I can remember checking out the planes at his work when I was young teenager. At the time I think production was in Lansing and we were living over in Grand Ledge. It would be cool to have an old prop or something else to hang in my office to remember him from that part of my childhood. Glad to see they are still being produced.

30 years ago I learned to fly in Dayton, Ohio which is just a few miles south of Troy where the original Wacos were made. The old timers there pronounced it 'wah-ko'.

I've been on 3-4 flights in Bi-planes. On one flight, in southern California, the pilot slowed the aircraft down and flew over a freeway. There were actually cars passing us! On another flight a high school friend and I took a flight out of the Orange County airport (that was its name then) and sat in the back cockpit. We went out over the ocean and suddenly we saw the throttle being pushed forward rapidly and the plane began to fly at a very high angle and it was actually vertical eventually. Then the horizon began to twist in many different directions all at once and the wind noise nearly went silent. Then we saw the ground from a vertical orientation once again, the wind noise started to increase and then the engine noise as we suddenly pulled out of the dive. The G forces also changed radically at time.
My friend, who eventually went into the U.S. Air Force as an A & P mechanic, knew much more about aviation than I did. He asked the pilot "was that was a hammerhead?" and the pilot said yes. I've seen some video showing a hammerhead from both on board and other aircraft cameras. Wow, I did that?! The pilot said "you two looked like you were the adventurous type so I thought I would surprise you!"

Can't wait for the Porter video. As a jump pilot, that is probably my favorite single engine turbine GA aircraft.
On aircraft I'd like to see videos on, it would be awesome if you found a ride on a supersonic warbird fighter jet. F-4, Mig-21, F-104, F-100, you name it, it would be awesome if an owner took you off shore and broke the sound barrier.
