Would you like the features of Co-Pilot 360 for your Ford Maverick?

I like the co pilot 360 with the lane keep features.. I just wish we could have option to buy the adaptive cruise on the list for the XLT.. I had it on my 2020 Ford Fusion and loved it..

Regular cruise is mostly useless with all the traffic on the road. The Lariat's adaptive cruise and lane centering features make a Maverick more like an autonomous driving vehicle. It does take a lot of trust that the Mav will brake on time when traffic up ahead slows way down. Adaptive cruise takes a while to get used to but it is worth having. Great input Denny!

How do you find the sensitivity of the rear cross traffic alert? I have only had my Mav hybrid a week and have not heard it kick in yet. Does it detect people walking behind while reversing?

Hi Craig, welcome! Cross traffic works great, even for pedestrians. Test it by putting your Mav in reverse in a parking lot just as a car is passing behind you. The warning sound is pretty loud.
Congrats on your new Mav. Do some videos, I will sub!.

Bought a 23 hybrid xlt with 360. The only feature I really regret not having is the adaptive cruise control. Love my maverick it really is the most truck most people will need! Only other wish is that it had awd ability for the hybrid model.

For 2024, the difference in price of the XLT with lux and Lariat is not that much. But the Lariat can have adaptive cruise and 17 other features not available on the XLT per my video uploaded 7-19-23. Maybe order one next year. Thanks for your input Gary!

I don't own a Maverick, but this applies to it or any other vehicle. I am not a fan of lane keep assist, though I do like blind spot monitoring. Also, I don't own a vehicle with adaptive cruise control, and rarely use cruise, but I don't think I'd want it. I like like simplicity in my vehicles. As a side note, that Alto Blue is really nice - I like it much better than the Atlas Blue. Too bad it's been discontinued.

Thanks for this Mr T! On a 2 lane divided hwy with oncoming traffic, lane keep can keep you from drifting and even save your life. Just like the blind spot feature you like, overall safety is important with all the traffic on the road.
Yes alto was a great color. I like atlas but it does not change as much as alto.

I don’t want any nannies said the corpse. Have you met people that won’t wear their seatbelts? What happens if you drive off a cliff? You are better off being thrown from the car or if you drive onto a bridge and it collapses? You might drown if your seatbelt jams. There’s always an excuse. I had a friend that didn’t want to pay for antilock brakes because he’s never needed before. There’s reasons why the government has to make a lot of safety features legally. Volvo invented and used the three point safety belt in 1959! How many cars had them before they were legally required? Two, Volvos and Saabs.

Hi again Mitchell. This is funny, thanks!
Yes not wanting safety features is like a roofer not tethered or a fireman with no hazmat gear. Ford should actually make CP 360 standard for all of its drivers. Safety should not be an option.

@@fordmaverickmaniac Ford will never do it unless required by law. Every penny counts when it comes to manufacturing costs. Thanks for writing back to me my friend.
