- With the first phase of voting underway for the Lok Sabha elections, proxy voting was reported from a polling station in Ghaspani II AC. Reportedly, the GB has chased away the observer, Kutoho Chishi(Dimapur district Congress President) and the polling agent and immediately the matter was reported to the police observer. On this matter, Kutoho Chishi clarifies the incident.

What a shame... Village councils in Nagaland are literally selling their souls for some money. This is why we never get development in Nagaland.
There is no voting rights in Nagaland. Village council, Goan bura, so n so, always compelled the voters to vote compulsory or majority to the party whom they favour, the real dictatorship is in Nagaland. I have experience, I also tried to cast my vote to the right candidate but I couldn't because there no one to accompany, the right thinking person become culprit to them. That's y I didn't cast my vote during NLA election.
