This week was an onslaught of gigantic scenes, each with many moving parts, so there's a good bit to speculate about considering that very few details were released to the public. I take you through all of the spicy details and share my theories for everything in this week's breakdown...

I’m hoping, that his son gets healed. It seems, his faith is that of a mustard seed. So encouraging that he’s mentioned to his wife. I loved when she asked Simon about the healer.

It gives those of us who miss The Chosen episodes coming out, and are anxious for the season to begin to "keep up" with our favorites and speculate what might take place!! Gaius has connections with some of the apostles such as Matthew and Simon …so maybe he gets to Jesus through them and I think he is the centurion who had more faith than all the apostles and disciples
Love the way you cover what's going on during the current season. You treat the video clips and director's info like a puzzle to be solved! Your details never ruin the show for me, they just inspire more thinking about people and facts in the actual bible accounts. Excited to see the final scenes!

I'm wondering if their lack of BTS content is because they are filming the crazy scenes, e. g. the transfiguration - Dallas just can't avoid that story.

I love the way the synoptic Gospels are covered but especially John's Gospel.
Hmm... wouldn't the Transfiguration be closer to the Passion though? We've still got a whole 'nother season before that.

In the scene with James, John, Salome and Zebedee. with Salome complaining that they didn't get a new name like Simon did, I bet they are setting up the scene where she comes to Jesus with her sons and asks that they sit on Jesus' right hand and left hand in His kingdom (Mattherw 20:20-23). That should be interesting to see.

I think a healing takes place but it didn’t look like Gaius’s son but I think that will happen at some point. And that may have been the actual actor since that was the big Monday rehearsal prep 🤔
I also think the scene is mostly Pharisee confrontations
you are confusing two stories , Gaius sent his servants to Jesus then before he reached his home and sent to friends to say I am not worthy to have you enter my home, thats why I did not come myself but just say the word, in the other story he tells the man to go home his son is healed, and he left and was met by his servants that his son lived, they are very similar.

Soo sad 😔- love him as Philip- it’s so hard when they have to change Characters- when it was Big James- it was just right after 1st episode, so didn’t really miss him cause was short time other guy played Big James - but Philip came in & such a great repore with Matthew, which was great! Saw a pic in a scene of the new guy playing Philip- doesn’t compare to the guy we’ve come to know & love. Sooo wish he wasn’t leaving & wondering why 😞

Thanks for all your sleuthing work and for putting all the clips from the week together for us to view as you talk. You do a great job! I like to read through the gospels too and guess how the scenes may fit together. Here are a couple more thoughts from Matthew and Luke put together. Since next season is Holy Week, there is a lot that we can expect to be covered this season. It seems right that we will see Jesus face off the the Pharisees as you said and as we have seen in clips. (Matt 15:1-20, Matt 16:1-4; Luke 11:37-12:12) There is some great material in those passages for an exciting scenes. Luke 12:8-12 could be particularly tense, should that be portrayed. I could see that starting a riot that the Romans would have to break up. Luke 12: 49-53 would incite some discord too. The healing on the steps could be from Matt 17:14-20 and Mark 9:14-29 (healing of the boy with a demon), which happened in the midst of a crowd after Jesus had been out of pocket for his transfiguration. That would get a lot of attention, but the mute guy with the demon (Luke 11:14-26) is probably more likely. Another possibility for Rivkah besides Luke 11:27-28 is the Canaanite woman from Matt 15:21-28, her story seemed to happened at about this time too. I just don't know if Rivkah would qualify for "Canaanite." I think you are right that the cost of following Jesus is going to play into all of this. It has too - this is a huge theme in Jesus' teachings. It's possible that Atticus reported something to Gaius that needed action and Gaius once again refused to act, prompting Atticus to alert Quintus and and causing him to make a personal appearance. Just a thought. I'll be curious to see what the next week brings!
Just for fun, let’s clarify-scenes are almost Never filmed in any “normal” sequence! It doesn’t confuse the film makers; only the anxious fans waiting for it to be finished!!

I believe Gaius son will be in this season- he’s come soo close to watching all that’s happened & actually in the scene with Simon- and his son & wife ask if this is the one to help his servant & in the Bible the lady with issue of blood & Roman asking Jesus to heal his servant are close together- that’s why we thought it would be in season 3- but wasn’t. I soo wish & praying 🙏🏼 that more & more people or ministries-Pastors ect would sow $$$ into The Chosen- people are getting saved all over- can see in comments Since Season 1- ect and people are going to need to know where they can go to get discipled & learn more of Gods Word & have people to help them 🙏🏼🙏🏼 If only these Ministers- Pastors would let their people know & to watch as well-and share with others- they also could donate- as well as bring more people into the Kingdom of God 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I love❤The Chosen, but one thing that bothers me is the way the writers purposely place events out of chronological order as they happen in the gospel - it’s like WHAT? Isn’t it good enough the way the original writers had it? The re-naming of Simon to Peter is just one of those events.
I am bummed out I missed out on the tickets for the convention oh well maybe next year 😅 I will try to get them
Oh we are getting to the part where Zebedee’s wife request to Jesus that her sons James and John sit on the right and left side of Jesus when he is king and the other disciples heard and got mad.

I think I heard that they are going to cover John's death this season. Very sad time for Andrew and Jesus of course, but also the Actors. I might be wrong about the timing of the events. Love this show - I'm sharing it with people all the time while sharing my Jesus.

Nah... I don't think Gaius will allow himself put in that singular situation. I do believe Gaius will sadly have to be a part of the crucifixion. I have some thoughts on my favorite character Quintus. I don't think he will live to the end of the show. Could be wrong. 🤨

In the chosen Jesus heals a leper, and yells him to show himself to a priest, and offer the proper sacrifice for his cleansing. Do the Mishna or Talmud record and/or comment on this event at that time?
