Joyce is further along than Angel is now in the W. The most impressed I was in Joyce was her ability to draw fouls. She was actually 7 for 8 from the line. My standout players were Chloe, Joyce, Raven, Tessa & Adhel. The others weren't bad but these guys stood out for their basketball intelligence, basically the little things that always gets overlooked. Chloe on the boards. I already spoke on Joyce. Raven 3rd leading rebounder behind Chloe & Joyce, 4 asst. to 0 turnovers. Tessa defense was great 2 blocks, doesn't force anything and knows when to take shots. Adhel looked good on tne boards and just knew where she was supposed to be on the floor. My only disappointment was Bree Hall.
Brea needs to drive more , every time she drives it looks good to me and it a dimension they team can use . Who else on the team stands 6 ft tall , can drive and bust a 3 ?
I had a descent seat in the lower section of the FedEx Forum. My hat off to the Lady Tigers. What's amazing is that after a 38-0 undefeated national championship season, all the Lady Gamecocks appear to be in the best shape ever... The Entire Team... Dawn and her coaching staff deserve praise for actually working on the problem areas of each player. If let loose i believe 100+ points a game are possible. Hopefully AW returns soon. The repeat tour has begun.
It's to early to tell. We need Ashlynn Watkins back. Trying to fill the void of 6 ft 7 Cordoso won't be easy but as a group we can get it done but WE NEED Watkins to do this
Joyce is more developed, more athletic ability , and faster than Angel at this point in their careers. But Joyce definitely have a motor similar to Angel . All I’m going to say is IF Strong is better than Joyce , Oh my God .

Im concerned at the large NIL money that players want. Line A.Chavez wanting $1.M. That probably won’t go anywhere but teams like Texas could afford it. If one player gets tons of money where is the teamwork when other players aren’t getting anything close.

I think people will think not having Kanilla or teams we go against size will be different but I think they are going to buy into that with everyone back and the foundation they set last year is gonna pay dividends..especially in the tough close games.

Don't be surprised if those numbers drop this season. People are going to see just how valuable she was, my friend. †
