this is by far the most USEFUL DIY pincushion tutorial I've seen! and since I don't have stretch velcro - and because I'm cheap and probably won't bother to buy any - I've decided to just improvise (as frugal ppl are prone to doing!) and use a 1" elastic for my wrist band and just sew velcro onto that instead! but i was SO impressed with the sticky velcro ON the sewing machine and INTERCHANGING the pincushions!!! brilliant :)

That's a really handy little idea. Thank you so much. I have never seen stretch velcro!

What did you use to attach/adhere the Velcro onto the machine ?

I used the velcro with sticky on the back of it. You can buy plain velcro or you can buy it with a self adhesive on the back.

I just wonder (because I was so surprised) why you didn't cut one rectangle rather than the 2 pieces to make this? I hadn't known stretch Velcro was a product but it makes this easy. Have you ever put pin into your wrist? I enjoyed this first video I've seen. Thanks.

Because I wanted seams to differentiate between front and back.
