The Shining

This is the title music from the classic horror film, "The Shining". Based upon Berlioz's interpretation of "Dies Irae" from his Symphonie Fantastique, adapted by Wendy Carlos with Rachel Elkind doing the ghostly vocals. Here is a further adaptation by yours truly on guitar, and I do kind of a "guitar solo", mimicking what Rachel Elkind is vocalizing in the middle eight.......

I play metal music mostly, so playing staccato is just kind of how I naturally play anything. And, to be honest, I was intoxicated when I did this. I get what you're saying though. Thanks.

Also, not to mention there isn't anything keeping time in this piece, no drums or anything. I was counting in my head, that probably contributed to me playing it a little "stiff". I'm not a classically trained musician obviously.
