This game is absolutely fantastic! I used to do alot of raiding in FFXIV (Healer for Life) and this game fills that niche. Getting to play this with friends who have never raided before and watch them learn was the best moment of the year so far.
You absolutely have to play this game on multiplayer, it's an entirely different game. Boss, loot, and builds all become a game of coordination and all the attack patterns are different depending on the amount of players too!
Seems like a few other players will be at Combo Breaker, so hoping to get some raids in at that event, should be an awesome experience to do it all locally :D
another thing i love is how drastic the difficulty spikes are. Going from normal to hard was an INSANE jump, and even after that I finally managed to beat hard yet I still cant do a single biome on lunar
If you want another bullet hell roguelike, consider checking out the void rains upon her heart! Absolutely love that game as a shmup fan and it has some of the most fun roguelike upgrades besides Isaac itself. Highly recommend!
That was a great review! This is also one of my favorite games in a long time, so it makes me happy to see people covering it, and giving it more visibility. Honestly, I wish more games would use FFXIV raiding mechanics in different genres, it's something with so much potential!
Glad you enjoyed it, yea the raiding mechanics add a ton of depth and when in co-op there it can require quick communications and ends up being super rewarding when everyone is in sync.
Ah i didn't realize Maiden Spell was a bullet hell fighting game. I remember very quickly looking through it's steam page because it's art was nice. Both of these games sound cool. Also soundtrack by steel plus/はがね? hell yeah they make some good ass music

@@KlineFGC It's super easy to find people on the Online Lobby as well, so I highly recommend giving it a try!
