I think you should try experimenting with weapons that you don't use much, such as the jumpstart or the alt shotgun. Apart from practicing their mechanics in the sandbox, you should also try to use them in the cybergrind, even if at lower waves to see how it fits into your playstyle. The jumpstart is heavily overlooked by some, as the default version can be used to set up super high damage conductions that kill any fodder in their general radius and heavily damage heavy enemies, while the alt version deals massive amounts of damage to very big enemies like the insurrectionist. The alt shotgun is also a great burst damage option that can be used if your railgun and cannonabll are on cooldown (I personally like to use the overpump alt, since it has the highest one-shot damage in the game)
Yeah, I'm trying to integrate the Jumpstart into my playstile, I'm already using it more than earlier. I also need to learn to rail coin As for the alt shotgun, still have to unlock it ;-;

also practice railcoining. It can make big enemies like 2x easier
