You can also print your own images on full sheet printer stickers (white or clear) and then you don't need modge podge. To seal off the front so it's waterproof/smudge-proof you can simply spray a protective clear matte topcoat a few times and/or spray or brush a clear polyurethane lacquer. Saves time over multiple modge podge coats and prevents paper damage from moisture as shown.
Only found your channel a few weeks ago and just love all the different crafts you do, thanks so much for sharing them. I wish I could share my work too, but I've really bad tremors in my hands and my work is so messy but it does (mostly) come out fine. If I made videos to share, I'd probably scare folk off rather than inspire them haha :)
I wish you would not let your tremors stop you! If you watch for it, you will see that at times my hands shake very badly. I try to edit the worst of it out. The same with my stutter. If things start going wrong, I just leave the camera rolling until I get it right. It makes for a lot of editing, but it's worth it!
U can iron it w/parchment paper on top of the plate to reactive the glue..it shld flatten out the paper onto the plate..Other then that..what a fantastic tutorial..so precise&neat..I just love it.. Thank u4sharing🥰
Wow Thank you for this video ! I have a inkjet printer and when I added mod p glue it smeared the ink . I am gonna try to do the dry brush method like you said .
You can use an inkjet printer just fine. You will just need to do a couple more really, really thin coats at the beginning, or there is a mod podge spray that you could use to do a couple really light coats to help seal the ink before you start the decoupage process. Here is a link to the spray... www.amazon.com/Mod-Podge-Gloss-Lustre-Finish/dp/B00TVT8FOY/ref=sr_1_75?crid=DYQBTGK0V6P7&dchild=1&keywords=mod+podge+spray&qid=1619608862&s=arts-crafts&sprefix=mod+podge+spray%2Carts-crafts%2C226&sr=1-75

That's what I was thinking. There's also dishwasher modge podge. Plus a spray would be better so you don't have fine lines.
@@angelsworld1733 Yes, I just completed about 15 of them and they all came out spectacular (if I could post an image here I would).
@SWLinPHX love to see the ones u completed using this method? can u share a video tutorial , showing how it's done with stickers?
@@mamadubwize I don't have time to post a video tutorial but I do have photos. Do links to outside TH-cam sources still work in comments?
@@SWLinPHX pics of light switch projects?
What size is your image. Great video !

Great! Good luck :)
If I dont have a laser printer that can do color how will that affect my results? Will images printed on an inkjet smear?

Can i use photo paper too?
@@ivalynwilliams786 I have found photo paper to be too thick to fold around the corners.
Must I have a laser printer or can I do this with a inkjet printer? Thx
You can definitely use an ink jet printer, but you will need to do more layers of 'dry' brushing to seal the ink really well.
@@cedarhollowcreations Thank you
Doable w ink jet?
Yes, it is very doable with an ink jet. But you have to be very careful to use a pretty dry foam brush for the first few coats to not smear your ink.
