K N Thank you so much. I felt great with the immediate set too but honestly I felt overwhelmed w/ the makeup & my mornings are rushed as is but I’ve gotten the hang of it. Bottom line- it’s about enjoying our new smile. 😁
How wonderful for you to see your dad and your son! I'm really very happy for you. My dad only lives about 10 miles away and my son (with his family) about 25 miles away. I only see my dad about 3-4 times a year and my son every other weekend when we take my grandson over night. I used to see Dad weekly, for lunch, but that stopped because he doesn't believe that I'm truly ill. Since my step mom and her kids have never heard of anyone having the same combination of illnesses that I have, it must not be true. Oops, sorry to cry on your shoulder!! As for the ice cream sandwiche, you are not alone!! I have that problem with I've cream sandwiches and white bread. Hugs from Michigan Ali P
Ali P Hi Ali, no worries. Family can be difficult. It’s not like you’d choose to be ill if you had a choice. I suffer from chronic back pain after an MVA (lady hit the front of my SUV), I have good days & bad days but I’m in pain each day (the severity depends on what I’m doing) so I can emphasize w/ you. Sending hugs your way!!! 🌲💞⭐️
Lillian Darling Thank you so much! You are so very sweet & kind! Chronic back pain is one of my problems as well. I see a multi-disciplinary pain specialist to get epidurals every couple of months and I also have a pain pump implant and a pain stimulator implant. I highly recommend the pain pump!! The hardest part is that my dad actually has 2 of the same diseases that I have. That's the frustrating part. Merry Christmas!

That is so Wonderful that you were surprised by your Son and that you had special times with your Family . Smores Yum we have done those in the past all sitting around the fire pit in the backyard - even in the snow ! As far as the ice cream sandwich I find that the cookie part sticks - but their so good . Lillian your hair has gotten so long since the first videos I have watched of yours , you are so pretty and your hair looks great straight - bet it takes a while to do it . Have a Nice Christmas !!!
Teresa Koff Thanks Teresa, you’re so sweet! Actually my hair was very long (25”) but I cut off 16” (donated 12” to Locks of Love) in August. Yes, straightening it does take a while but not as long as it did when my hair was really long. LOL People at work love when I straighten it too. S’mores are so yummy! Another great video. I'm just day 3 since getting my extractions and dentures. I am eating a few things including sherbet. Yesterday I had small pieces of a pbj sandwich and the bread stuck to everything lol. I will try the ice cream sandwich. I love your videos btw and still need to answer you back in another one. (I see the dates on the videos, so I know it's been awhile).
Karen Cox Hi Karen!! Glad you’re doing good. Yeah, the bread can be a little tricky. Just use your tongue to get it off the roof of your pallet. I see you have another comment after this one so I’m going there next. I always reply to comments as soon as I can (I now work 70 hrs/week *no joke*) but YT doesn’t always send us notifications so I’m sorry if I missed something). Let me know how that ice cream sandwich goes. I just had one @ 11pm when I got home from my 2nd job. LOL 😉
It is currently 18 degrees here but I will try it - even though I am also lactose intolerant! LOL I am so happy for you that you were able to spend that time with your son and your dad...that is AWESOME!!! What an amazing little surprise in between the holidays! We miss you too...so try to get on here when you can, even if it's just for some commuting chat! LOL

My son had no problems with hie regular teeth yay .. on another note they it did stick to my uppers. I guess that is one thing we will have to live with. Sue Boyd So funny b/c I just peanut butter on toast yesterday. I don’t have an issue with peanut butter & bread but I always keep my water near by when I’m eating peanut butter. LOL
Ice cream in general will loosen my bottom demyire every time. My denture can be real snug too and not loose at all and then after a couple bites if ice cream, pops right up. Lol oh well. Will I stop eating it?? Nope! 😂
I tried one, probably a month after extractions... and yeah it sticks to mine also. And although it had been some time since I had eaten one with my natural teeth, I do remember the chocolate wafer part sticking to my teeth, not as much as the dentures, but it did stick to the teeth.
