About the corn laws; they actually updated it in 1.6; not only is it harder to get rid off, you can trigger it easier (either mercantilism with 25%+ grain or isolationism with 25% grain, on top of the normal requirement)

From what I saw in your last video, I think you are doing a pretty good job! In terms of editing I guess you can make the zoom ins and outs go a bit faster and maybe add more of them to put focus on what you're doing :)

How do I need to do to get higher learning. Like I make a university and then what
In my understanding at least, universities do not increase literacy rate of your population, it only increases qualifications for jobs and innovation for tech progress. To get better literacy you need to get better school edicts, public school and mandatory primary school in your govermental laws and then get tier 5 in your institutions tab. Don't cheap out on universities though just because you heard this.
Literacy rate increase with school law ( the best is public school) , university increase innovation ( to search technologies faster) . So overral you need to max out both innovation and literacy

@@brandonb4742 either press B to go to build que and then see state buildings and select on the map where you want to build it or you click on the county and see its buildings and scroll down you see the university building.
(preferably build the first where you have the most people like the capital and as you progress and your population and industries grow you build it in other counties too to get those job qualifications in them)
Remember that all buildings (except the skyscraper) can be built more than once and you can and should build lot of universities, just watch out for the upkeep of them and balance it with paper industries to keep the upkeep cheaper and making sure your bureaucracy doesn't go to significant minus so you don't lose taxes.
