@@TheGameBoyGeeks Ok got that part, but why would anyone speak of the Mason’s (directly or indirectly)? In what way do the Mason’s help the village? Sorry that I’m slow to catch on to these things
proceed with the game? if i wasnt wrong, the winning condition for village is when all ww is eliminated while ww will win when the number of villagers(good side including seer etc) is the same as the wws. But for the solo team (which is yellow in this card version) they win when they are the only one left or win by condition (like that one yellow card who win if hes voted out). If wws and villagers is same in number, but thers still one solo team in game, then the wws need to eliminated the solo to win. This as far as i understand from my novice experience in ww game (movies sequel, manga, games etc.) not a hardcore tho :|
If you have 10+ people I would recommend the new box either Deluxe or standard. Those have the QR codes on the cards do you can use the app to moderate. If you have less than 10 players I’d recommend One Night Ultimate Werewolf.
Just bought a 30-card starter deck. Read the rules and roles. Just a couple specifics I'd like to ask... 1) for the Insomniac, the two players on each side of the Insomniac (four total), are they the only ones that the Moderater tells the Insomniac if they committed a night action or not? 2) for the Werewolf, if there are, let's say, four Werewolves at the start and along the way, there's now two Werewolves remaining, does that mean that two Villagers have to be remaining for the Werewolves to win, or still four Villagers, being that four Werewolves started in the game.
I have a question, what is the purpose of the Village Idiot? We're playing with friends without using him, because we don't really understand who is he :)
For that Strategy insight it’s probably best to put that question in the link given in the description for additional questions so the designer can chime in :)
Wait, did they fix the app? We tried it and it wasn't working before. Bought this game but haven't been able to get it to the table at my FLGS's game nights yet and my group outside of the store is not usually big enough for it.
Love the breakdown of this game. Are you able to elaborate more on the Mason role? What purpose do the Mason’s serve in the game?
It allows them to see another Mason so they both know they are on the village team

They help the village because they are on the village side. If only two people claim to be masons and No one contests it you can trust them.
When voting during the day, do players vote on themselves?
No they can't
What if the seer is eliminated?

Art just changed from the old werewolves game but mechanics are still the same?
Which of the countless ultimate werewolf boxes should we start with purchasing? Thanks!
