Thanks for tutorial Jacob. I made a video where Christmas decor gradually appears on the plane, but how can I hide this plane in compositing? The plane is not visible in the render preview, but in the final render it is there. I created another plane to make it shadow catcher or holdout ,but it still didn't help. It works in simulation but not with geo data
Bro I love your way of explaining. The dedication ✨ you are a determined person & I'm eager to see you achieve great heights with your tutorials Gonna binge watch them
My simulation is working thanks to you but the object has the flowers and grass already on it and, instead of exposing the grass the plane exposes the object. Basically it's inverted fr some reason
I had the same issue, dont know why, but the solution is being super accurate playing with numbers. My setup for moss: 1.39 2.34 14.7 0.04. So lower your numbers and it should help (I guess). And multiply with a lot bigger numbers like 200 So experiment but in smaller scale, I hope it will help🤞
@@russelmiranda7844 ahh, so the map range is what you need to change, i believe the last settings on the map range is what decides the scale, so just invert those
@@JacobForyThanks for replying and having such a great tutorial! I’m terrible with geo nodes. So if you happen to randomly test it out let me know! Appreciate it:)
Hi! Great tutorial. I have a problem when I apply the Geometry Proximity node. The instances are huge, and I don’t know how to make them proportional. Could you help me, please?
Heyy, I have everything working right until the instances. When I click seperate children, reset children, and then pick instance, nothing happens! I'm a bit lost, please help. I started the scene from scratch, so not sure what's wrong... I'm using Blender 4.2 LTE
Beautiful logic ad workflow, looking forward to you sharing more of your genius
From IG to here!!! Finally some real algorithm magic
Geometry nodes 😮, very beautiful effect! 😊

Basically it's inverted fr some reason
its really hard to know whats actually going on through text
@@JacobForyIn simple words how to invert the effect? Cause mine is the opposite.🤧 I'm sorry fr my bad English...

Is there a way to have multiple effectors going off into different directions?
good question, i have no idea but it might if you duplicate the setup and connect these two with math node

@@dynoproductionsmo bro ofc, like i said im not sure about the multiplue nose, but you can try it
@@JacobFory Thanks!
niceeeeeeeeeeeee
how can i do the slow motion trick ( like your final result )
it was just slowed down in davinci resolve
@@JacobFory i haven't tried davinci resolve, can i do it in blender somehow?

make sure the instances have apllied scale and are not huge
How can I invert the effect?
@@asaelramirez6590 invert the map range, instead of the last value that is 0 make it like 1 and the value above it needs to be 0
@@JacobForyI did the changes but, now it's not working
do a lighting tutorial, like in this scene
Lighting tutorial coming soon!
why my distribute points on faces are different? they are big, not like the oranges points in the video..
scale up the object then
@@JacobFory that's it! thank you man! you're awesome, replied me in 3 min! kkkk
Didnt work for me... nice tutorial though
Iupdate :
did it ! thx :)

it might just be small, or also before you do that make sure the instances arent parented to anything or they have applied position, rotate and scale
tree log link please
i dont have the link, but search trunk on quixel bridge
