Any suggestions about this problem gas detector honeywell alertmaxllwas not good when l was turned on they will make a sound alarm..an when l was started for calibrate.. Calibration fail was showing.
May have a bad sensor. Watch during calibration to check and see which sensor isn't passing and then replace that sensor. If it fails during Zero then it's most likely the oxygen sensor failing
There's a small white zebra strip that sits in the white plastic LCD housing. It may have fallen out while replacing the sensor. It goes near the middle of the screen by the button.
For toxic/LEL it's going to be the long number on the bottom of the sensor, usually on a white sticker. For the O2 it's the long number on the label on the side.
Make sure once the sensor is installed you wait an hour or so for it to stabilize. Then once that happens the first thing you should do is zero and calibrate the detector. Don't take it in the field until you calibrate it
Hey cortezed, sounds like you have a dead O2. We sell replacement sensors here: www.idealcalibrations.com/bw-technologies-gas-alert-microclip-xt/bw-technologies-gas-alert-microclip-xt-oxygen-o2-sensor if you pick one up we're happy to walk you through the replacement process by phone. Just make sure you have calibration gas to calibrate it after.
My meter is giving me a clock error. I have tried to reinstall the firmware. Didn't work. Another option BW says is replacing coin cell. I assume that's the battery on the inside?
Hey Ryan, that's it, but you're on your own risk replacing that clock battery, just as an FYI. Sometimes it's worth just getting a new one for the warranty coverage.
During the calibration procedure, everything progresses according to the instructions until the equipment performs the zero. At this point, instead of receiving the expected message to apply gas, I am presented with the indication "Closed."
Hey Marcel, sorry for the late reply on this, but can you send us an email to service@idealcalibrations.com with a screenshot? I haven't seen that message before but we'd be happy to troubleshoot it.
Hello, My Nimbre is Luis, I am Colombian, I have a Gas Alert Quattro, which has a bad oxygen sensor, I bought a new sensor and when I install the new factory sensor it still appears as if the oxygen sensor was damaged. What I can do? I appreciate your collaboration, the old sensor has a bit of ulfato clean it, install the new sensor but the equipment does not recognize it and it keeps appearing, error o2.
Hey sorry for the delay. You need a wait an hour after you install the sensor. Then go ahead and calibrate it. It should work, it just needs that time to stabilize
I replaced the o2 sensor and now I receive a message during startup that says "Error 02" and after the self test the GasAlert Max XT II reads a 20.9% o2 level. Then after 3-5 seconds, the o2 level drops to 18% and the alarms go off. I am having this same issue with two monitors. I contacted Honeywell and they told me to update the monitors using Fleet Manager, which I have now done, but I still receive the same error. Any ideas as to how I can fix this? Could both of the o2 sensors be bad?
Hey Travis, it might just need a calibration. Want to give me a call here and we can walk it through? Desk is 734-234-5042. I doubt it's the O2 sensors, but it could be possible. The autozero on startup isn't really a great piece of functionality. Give me a call and we'll troubleshoot. -James
Thank you for this informative video. Watching here Al Khafji Saudi Arabia from Philippines.

I have a BOSEAN BH-4S sensor is reading flat zero, the original sensor is O2-M2, is it diferent between the O2-A2 sensors would they work ?
Hello, that's not a monitor I've seen before. Can you send a photo of the unit and sensor? Thanks
i did a 02 swap per the video. The device comes on lights up but nothing comes on the screen. What could have gone wrong?

Hello, I'm not sure what you mean, can you try explaining?
@@Idealcalibrations sir how to connect zebra connector or zebra strip with screen of gas detector
@@Qlb-ul-asad123 If you look at 3:10 on the video, there is a slot above the white button. Put the zebra strip in there and you should be good to go.

Need to change the lcd on a gasalertMAX XT11 any suggestions
I'd say just be real careful when you're removing the pump inlet and putting it back on. Real easy to screw up that rubber mold and lose pump suction.
