    Just a suggestion, but I switched the Wheel Spinner from the right side of the steering wheel to the left side. Allows using left hand to drive and right to work loader joystick which proved to be much more convenient. One of the best accessories I've ever added to any of the 3 different Kubotas I've owned over the years. Just beyond convenient!!

    I have never seen a tractor with tire shine. But, gotta respect the fact that you take pride in what you own.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because of the condition of this tractor I traded it in with 400 hours on it for just $2000 less than what I paid for it. The condition really helps resale value. I like my stuff looking good.
      Keep on tractoring!

    Never knew you did some of these mods. I guess I'm gonna have to look into trying some on the B2301. Thanks for the recommendations. I think I'll check them out, though I've heard of some of them before. Of course this goes without saying but yet again another great video that was well worth watching, Jon. Thanks for putting out content. We'll always be here to watch it. Take care, and God bless.

    I got a 2018 LS XG3025. I've completely abused it for 2 years now. I've done hardcore stuff with it that no one should ever do with a tractor its size and it has not given me any issues whatsoever. This tractor is a beast.
    It outperforms my dad's Kubota L3600.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those LS tractors are really nice machines! I've been impressed from what I've seen other you tubers doing with them. There are a lot of good tractor brands on the market right now.

    Steve Rob is the coolest guy from Muskrat Dam. Love his vids along with Paul and Kathy. Recently hooked up with Steve Morgan. His video are getting better and better. Really enjoy your video's too. From a Minnesotan 40 years removed.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I love Steve Rob's energy that he brings to every video he does. The outhouse build is hilarious to me and the fact that most videos he does involve him enjoying a beer. Steve Morgan's videos I like because they usually involve his tractor and he does a nice job with his commentary. God bless.

      Jon Ritter wish I could keep my kubota that clean. Do you use degreaser around main grease areas? My kubota used to be orange now black lol.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      WD40 works great as a degreaser, don't spray it directly on as you don't want it getting inside the fitting. Rather spray some on a rag and wipe excess grease away. I also use wipe WD40 on all plastic parts such as the side panels, dash area and lever housings. Give it a try and keep on tractoring! God bless.

    You got itvright talking about Paul Short. He has actually made a video or 2 for me to help me out. The basic soldering video was made exclusivly for me. They took time out of their already extremely busy because of his business and helped another youtuber out. I realize he cant do that any more, so I cherish those times. I have gotten quite a few mods from Paul and Kathy ovef the years. Best $$ I ever spent. I have a few of them in my latest video, but have added more since then. I bought a brand new bx1880 back in April. They even allowed me to call her, yeah her, "Mini Killer". Killer and Lil Killer needed a lil Sister. They are truly 2 of the most AWESOME people around and I hope one day to meet them in person. Conversations on phone and sending messages and emails are 1 thing, but a 1 on 1 in real life, OH MAN! Thay would be so freakin AWESOME.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I remember Paul's soldering videos, I bought all the soldering tools he suggested and I try to follow the steps he showed in his videos. I sure appreciated him taking the time to show us all how to do things better. His modifications always looked factory made and that's what I liked most about his work. Fantastic fabricator and great people.

    Hope to make the list next year. LOL I watched Neil, Paul, and yourself before we pulled the trigger on our Kubota. I am interested in the rear wheel spacer. These tractors may be small but they still can tip easily. Anything that would help is welcome.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wheel spacers are almost necessary with the cab unit. I know I paid too much for mine as there are other cheaper alternatives. I strongly suggest joint the “Kubota BXer Network” and/or the “Kubota Tractors & Equipment” groups on Facebook. They each have a ton of resourceful members that you can ask questions and get answers within minutes.

    Great mods and channel! One of the first mods I did to my 2370 was to cut 3inched off of the loader control stick. In my opinion it stuck out entirely to far and didn't look good, I think it looks much better now!

    Great video. You haven`t had a problem with the tie rod boots yet? Tore the boot on my B series pushing brush on the first day of ownership. I used duck tape to repair it because Kubota showed you could only get it with the tie rod assembly. Paul short showed a mod using a new urethane boot .I ordered some from him for the "B" in hopes it would work on it . They work but are a little tight and they are tough compared to the original.Hope this helps if any one needs a great tie rod boot.

      His remember his video doesn't go into detail about the edge molding and I couldn't find it either. However, I bought edge molding for my new tractor that isn't the same stuff I had on my BX25 but is basically similar. I found it on amazon. It's called edge molding or door molding. it's fairly inexpensive about $15. Get yourself 20' of it and that should me enough.

    I'd of put the LED strobes on the top of the ROPS facing both front & rear. My BX-2380 turn signals came mounted on the top section of the ROPS. IMHO strobes need to be as conspicuous as possible for the benefit of the occasional, somewhat blind car drivers who can't drive in the snow when you're plowing or blowing snow.

      it is a 14 inch light bar and it came from e-bay. I can't remember the site but e-bay has a ton of different options. Read the reviews and make your best choice. I might upgrade to an even larger light bar not because I need to but because I can and more light the better, right. Thanks for watching and God bless.

      LOL, I have already found that my bank account needs to grow in order to try and keep up with all the Mods and tools Paul has shown! My wishlist just keeps growing and growing! I think the first thing I plan on doing is buying a house with a barn on a couple maybe 5 acres before I go too far with Modding the BX. Just incase I upgrade to the BX25 or BX23. Thanks again and Keep on Tractoring! God Bless!

    @1pcmedic 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I removed a 20' x 40' in ground liner pool, wall sections, steps and the liner with a BX22. Then moved everything out to the front of the house for pickup by the scrap man in 12 hrs. Can't beat a BX TLB.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did but I’d suggest using U bolts or hose clamps to a piece of angle iron or something similar or even JB weld. No need to drill unnecessary holes into the ROPS.

    Does any of the mods void the warranty on a new tractor? Just bought a BX2380. Love to do some mods, but don't want to mess with the warranty.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      None of the mods I shown in this video would void your warranty. The only issue would be compromising the ROPS with the four holes I drilled for the lights. Many many mod ideas out there. Have fun!!

    Jon :: you were saying you wish your mirrors were higher, why not take a piece of 1/4"aluminum flat bar or flat steel bar and cut it to the length you want your marriage to be in height.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's something to think about, but I don't think it would look as nice. I'm trying to think of a system that would come around from the ROPS that would look somewhat decent. Might be a distant future mod. Thanks for watching and God bless.

    I am looking to get a 3 point hitch receiver soon. Any pros or cons for the style you have now vs the old style you used to use?

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The biggest reason I got it was for the receiver hitch option which also meant I could use a cargo rack for my sprayer or quickly add ballast instead of hooking up another three point implement. I also like the way mine is constructed vs some of the others. Any hitch with a receiver is the way to go in my opinion. Best of luck. Thanks for watching. God bless.

    you should install a dimmer for when your on the edge of the road so you dont blind on coming cars. This is actually a huge problem. Everyone is trying to find the brightest lights they can for their equipment and i understand the need to see but people need to think about others.

    • @ritterjon
      @ritterjon  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You bring up a good point. I’ve always tried to be considerate to others and turn my bright lights off when cars are around. It would be nice if there was a automatic dimmer that only engaged when it senses headlights. My road is t very busy so it’s not a huge concern.
