I absolutely love how open minded these men are! They are willing to taste fruits they can't pronounce and never seen before, adapt it to their recipe, and just watch them taste the magic they made together! Its so beautiful to watch and see their world just open up a little wider!

Even for Indonesian like me where this rambutan & jackfruit is abundance this is new, usually we only use mango, sugar cane, banana, or palm sap for moonshine.

As an Appalachian who lived in Vietnam for 3 years and have tried all these fruits AND has real moonshine from the hills, I really appreciate this video. I love lychee and think it would be the best moonshine. 😂 I’ve only got peach, cherry, and white lightning.

Those fruits are very common where I'm from. It's interesting how it's exotic for them. The same way we find cranberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, artichokes etc. exotic.
When u stay in the mountains/woods. You don’t know anything else. Just like you can’t expect to find many mangoes in Alaska. As you would Miami. Same thing

We call this “Rambutan” In the philippines, I now live in Seattle since 2019 of september, And seeing this really makes me miss all of the fruits and vegetables back in My Motherland.
You all should consider going there and see how much we can offer.

My respect to all this gentlemen, the trial and errors they had to go thru to become masters in their craft is inspirational.
Trials and errors are usually done over a few generations depending on the place. My old uncle is running the old moonshine stil from the early 1930s.
They need to sell these limited batches to the viewers and fans man. Great collab

Love seeing people from different places bond over things they are passionate about.
I worked in teams a lot, but very rarely in a team like this where everyone gives 100% all the time, everyone loves what they are doing and everyone is open minded to experiment with new ideas. Among people like these is where the magic happens.

About 72 years ago I was living in Thibodaux, La and there was the largest loquat tree I have ever seen. And when I was a couple of years older I would go with Daddy to Charlie Usey 's bar in Raceland for his home blackberry wine.

Rambutan would probably pair really well with strawberry, it much like its lychee cousin has a floral scent and a sweet grape-like flavor.

I really dig richards demeanor and attitude! His character speaks respect and humility! But his confidence says I’m here with you but you don’t wanna be against me! Cool calm collective and extremely intelligent! some game I soaked up while watching him work!! You really learn alot about an individual when you see them in their element doing what they’re passionate about!

Coastal parts of Mexico and Puerto Rico. People would make mead in jars using different types fruits. Depending on where you are. Some people would just bury it on the beach and let it ferment for a day or two.
