    I absolutely love how open minded these men are! They are willing to taste fruits they can't pronounce and never seen before, adapt it to their recipe, and just watch them taste the magic they made together! Its so beautiful to watch and see their world just open up a little wider!

      Even for Indonesian like me where this rambutan & jackfruit is abundance this is new, usually we only use mango, sugar cane, banana, or palm sap for moonshine.

    As an Appalachian who lived in Vietnam for 3 years and have tried all these fruits AND has real moonshine from the hills, I really appreciate this video. I love lychee and think it would be the best moonshine. 😂 I’ve only got peach, cherry, and white lightning.

    Those fruits are very common where I'm from. It's interesting how it's exotic for them. The same way we find cranberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, artichokes etc. exotic.

    We call this “Rambutan” In the philippines, I now live in Seattle since 2019 of september, And seeing this really makes me miss all of the fruits and vegetables back in My Motherland.

      Trials and errors are usually done over a few generations depending on the place. My old uncle is running the old moonshine stil from the early 1930s.

    About 72 years ago I was living in Thibodaux, La and there was the largest loquat tree I have ever seen. And when I was a couple of years older I would go with Daddy to Charlie Usey 's bar in Raceland for his home blackberry wine.

    I really dig richards demeanor and attitude! His character speaks respect and humility! But his confidence says I’m here with you but you don’t wanna be against me!     Coastal parts of Mexico and Puerto Rico. People would make mead in jars using different types fruits. Depending on where you are. Some people would just bury it on the beach and let it ferment for a day or two.
