I really like the storytelling this game produces. That one rebel unit who was routed and fleeing due to seeing Darth Vader, suddenly turns around at the sight of Luke’s appearing and engaging with Darth. Then, when Luke got cut down, that same rebel unit provided the perfect hit to take down Darth.
That was fun for us too - it's great when a game gives you those story moments :)
I hope to see more legion game play from you guys. This series has been entertaining and informative
There likely wouldn't be another series for this one on the show, but if we play future games, you might see some highlights on Twitter.
Can we get another game? Rematch! Or switch sides for a different set of tactics.
We generally don't do more than one full playthrough for each game, but I think if Pep and I do play again, I'll be trying out the Imperials.
I'd love to see another game too! Easily the most entertaining game I've watched.
I loved watching your guys' game! It was a lot of fun, and it's pumping me up for tonight's game with my friend. It's great fun watching this while I'm on my lunch break. Could you guys possibly start another channel where you exclusively play Star Wars Legion? That'd be awesome! You guys do so well with it!

I know this review is 6 months old, but I just became interested in this game and your 4 part series was incredibly informative and has definitely given me a better understanding of the rules. Keep up the great work and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your productions.

I just bought the core recently, and was looking to find something to help me with the play aspect, since I am not a natural gamer and much more of a painter. This was witty, warm and funny. You both and Pep should play another round in reverse, especially with the rebalancing that happened a couple of months ago.

Hi, I really enjoyed watching this...Great entertainment!...one question I have is about minimum range.. the ATRT shot it's rotary blaster at troopers who were less than range 1 so if the range is 1 to 3 was the shot legal?

@@WatchItPlayed Hi, Time stamp is approx 8.09. The ATRT is adjacent to the stormtroopers who were pressed up against the terrain. It looks as though the range when the ATRT fires is less than range 1. The range for the rotary blaster is 1 to 3, so if range is less than 1 or greater than 3 the shot would not be allowed. I think the shot looks much less than 1 so should not be allowed. I don't want to spoil your game...I just want to be clear on the rules so that my understanding is correct. Cheers!
@@grahamlloyd7157 Ah, I think I see where the confusion is. Range 1-3, means anywhere WITHIN range 1-3. Not starting at the end of range 1, and going from there (in that case, it would be listed as 2-3). I believe the game ends right at the time where you table your opponent though, regardless of V points.
Thanks for joining us Carlos! You are right about that rule. On screen when we’re talking about final objective points there is an animation to correct that mistake.

i noticed darth vader wasn't taking full advantage of his Relentless ability in this round or last round- he only threw his saber after 1 movement when (at least i thought) he could throw his saber after each movement. Am I wrong? If he moves twice can he only throw his saber once?
You know, I shot this long enough ago, I don't recall, and don't have the game handy to look it up for you. Sorry about that.

This appears to be a very fitting rebel win. That’s usually how the rebel wins work. Don’t start too strong, but a few lucky swings and they make a comeback.

We'll see! I do paint minis from time to time, but it's not something I tend to carve out a lot of time for.
At 5:30 with Luke’s move towards the troopers, since you were close enough, could you have also charged Darth as well as give the troops courage by touching their bases?
Great question! Luke would still be just out of range if he was touching Darth's base. He had to run past Darth in order to ensure they didn't flee the battle.
Can you do another game with some of the new units that have come out?

I think you rolled one more black dice than you should have with that unit as one of the units was the ion unit.
The figure for the Ion Trooper can choose to fire with either the Ion weapon, or the standard weapon held by the Rebel Troopers. So in this case, all 4 were firing their main gun.
Now to get the minis painted.
Yey, my idea got in! I don't know what the others suggested but I said save the troops. The force gave them super aim :D

Ha! We got a little excited at the end about the win conditions, and objective scoring, but due to {SPOILERS} that wasn't necessary.
Couldn't he have used Charge and Melee attacked Darth after taking out the speeder?
Even if multiple abilities grant you extra attacks actions during a turn, you can never perform more than one attack action per activation. An ability like the Son of Skywalker command card lets you perform an extra attack because it doesn't label it as an attack action.
