How to Increase the Volume of your laptop’s Speakers on Windows 8 / Windows 10

- I this video I am going to show you How to Increase the Volume of your laptop’s Speakers on Windows 8 / Windows 10.One thing can help is the following. Right click the speaker icon in the Taskbar and select 'Playback Devices'. Left click the default device once to highlight it ( it's usually 'speakers & headphones' ) then click the Properties button. Click the Enhancements tab and put a tick in the box next to 'Loudness Equalization'. Click Apply to save the change and then click OK in all remaining windows and see if this has helped at all.Sometimes your speakers aren't loud enough even when the volume is set to maximum in Windows. well my laptop's speakers are too low i can't hear what your saying :)
You can wear headphones and you will hear him

I downloaded visual studio express 2013 but Visual Basic isn't in int for some reason do I need to download the Visual Basic template and how
i found the enhancements tab but when i click it , it doesnt have all that like he showed , it just says " desactivate all surrounding sounds " with a checkmark thingy , but it wasn't checkd , i checked that option and it didnt change a thing..

My Windows 10 doesn't have Control Panel when I right click the Windows start menu icon. It's almost like they don't want us having control of low-level features. Like they try to hide them.

Hi hoping you can help when I go into my sound highlight my speaker and going to properties the box I have does not contain enhancements it has general - custom - levels - advanced - spatial sound any ideas thank you

That worked! but on my Asus I had different options. I disabled "Phantom Speaker" and enabled "3D Immersion" You can only pick one of those, not both. Thanks for the video.

I have Enhancements, but not the other options like the "Loudness" option. My OS is Windows 10 64-bit home edition.

Sir, my laptop haven't this type option like a disable all Enhensment....
So what can i do in my laptop
if it doesn't have it, (neither has mine) it's because your device doesn't have the feature to disable enhancements. this means that you have no problem with this tutorial. just skip that part.

You will never see this but click down with the right side arrow. Loudness Equalization is the last item

I noticed the same thing ( no enhancements after clicking properties ).

My laptop when disabling the enhancements it sounded lower. By keeping the enhancements clicked Virtual Surround and Loudness Equalization, it improves a greater 50% in loudness. I still wanted it louder, its being just extremely low so, lets see what I can do for it.
I have Windows 7 and it worked perfectly.

About 50% volume increase sounds about right, had to tinker around some but much easier than downloading third party software to get about the same expected results: good video and info.

i used to have one before it got updated to windows 10 plus i had to get a new screen and little things fixed but now its gone and im confused n annoyed because when i call someone without using earphones it sounds really low, even in watching movies n videos
