Hi Dr. Berg, thanks for the information.
I just finished reading a paper which said that all calcium supplements, whether it be calcium carbonate, calcium citrate or any other calcium salt, they all dissolve at 95-100 percent in your stomach. But the absorption rate, which refers to your intestines taking up the calcium so it can be used by the body, is around 30 percent, no matter what the source of the calcium is. Their guidelines for taking calcium were:
    1. Take with food so there's adequate acid in the stomach
    2. Have adequate vitamin D so the calcium can be actively absorbed
    3. Take a maximum of 500 mg of calcium at one sitting.
If over age 50, you need 1500 mg calcium daily.
I make a calcium supplement from eggshells which also gives me some additional minerals. I also get my calcium from 8 oz whole milk, 8 oz almond milk and a huge salad.

I was a user of it for heartburn for years and I used a lot. I have passed more than thirty kidney stones in my lifetime. I have honestly lost count. I really believe it was all of the calcium carbonate I used. I no longer use it and have finally seemed to shut this rock quarry down. I use homemade sauerkraut or brags vinegar on the very rare occasions I get heartburn. Last time my kidneys were checked I still had two very small ones visible. I was told the stones did a lot of scar damage to the tube from the kidney to the bladder. Been on keto over a year now. Been the best shape since I was in high school. 58 pushing 59 and I go on extreme 50 pound pack hiking trips, mountain biking, canoeing and way more. I even have muscles instead of fat. Lol. I really appreciate your videos. Thank you. You are an asset to us all and I tell everyone about you.

My husband’s potassium level shot up to 7 and the GP rushed him to hospital. I am pretty sure the treatment was Calcium carbonate
Administered intravenously. This had to be done by a physician whilst husband linked through to the Cardiac monitors because we were told there was risk of a heart attack. Perhaps I am wrong about it being Calcium Carbonate but it was very frightening. This then would be the opposite of what you are explaining in your excellent video! We live in Scotland. UK

I drank coconut milk and thought I was doign great since it said it had 450mg calcium per cup. A few months ago my dentist was shocked at how soft my teeth were and I had had bad fatigue for many months. I take 5000IU D3 with 100 K2 and now lots more ionic magnesium from REMAG. I have been experiencing Gastroparesis for a few years and my doc suggested Tums. I think I have too little acid, not too much. The problem with Apple Cider Vinegar, for me, is it makes it Much worse. In the long gone past, if I burped, all was good. With this present problem I never burp. Sour stomach for MANY hours after even a Very small meal. ACV adds to the problem--and I know you and many other suggest it. I'm jealous of those of you it works for.

I remember doctor has mentioned the other form of calcium.Which is absorbed better than calcium carbonate. Firstly I only see calcium carbonate in South African stores. I am convinced doctor will do very, very well. If doctor starts a natural supplement range in my country. I'm also convinced Most vitamins and minerals in my country is not tested and probably don't even contain what the bottle says. More people need to hear about you!!! 😊I've been telling some people about your videos and how you always refer to the latest research. I firmly believe your knowledge and techniques are more accurate and more about curing.Than just suppressing symptoms If you create a supplement range of herbs, minerals and vitamins that are truly testing and market it right. In my country. It could really change the world and help a lot of people like me. I for example.Have a lot of serious permanent injuries and haven't found anything on the market that truly helps me and can be trusted.

Dr. Berg is the best! Even though I was in good shape and eating fairly healthy I suddenly developed type two diabetes. I was placed on every single medication for diabetes. Most gave me side effects, moreover my sugar levels reached alarming high levels within a year, despite the fact that I was following the protocol of the diabetes diet issued by the CDC, ADA, etc.
If it wasn’t for doing my own research and understanding insulin resistance, I probably would’ve died, as my family physician and numerous endocrinologist never recommended keto nor intermittent fasting.

What if you add calcium carbonate to vinegar first, and allow the offgassing of CO2 first, converting to calcium acetate, which is now water soluable and a more neutral ph.
I use that in gardening. Add some Epson salt and you have CalMag.
If I used it as a dietary supplement what is a safe and beneficial amount?
I'm not sure you could use vinegar with a calcium carbonate vitamin due to fillers, but if you want something produced in a factory instead of by a chicken that might work also. I personally feel good about mixing two simple household ingredients. But I also don't know what a safe amount is so haven't used it that way yet.

With hypoparathyroidism the pth that's lacking isnt causing calcium to come out of bone so you are supplying steady amount of calcium which seems like it makes sense. Not sure about amount. You also should be getting some from food. I was told to take 2 600s a day for bone health recovery which layer found out is what I supposedly would need if none in diet. There is a test called coronary calc CT that can see how calcified heart artery is. I think Ivor Cummings podcast I heart about it. Best wishes
