I was born in 1964, and being autistic and people pretending to be my friend really hurt me, and to this very day, I still suffer from people doing things to me. One of the instructors was a Born-Again Christian who was always smiling (even when he said something condescending) he kind of reminded me of Dana Carvey's Church Lady from SNL). He had the Poo-Munching Grin and a pronounced Furrowed Brow which seemed to indicate Anger and/or Sadness, and of course he was always doing sales pitches for his church.
