Paolo, just remember for next time: You don't have to do these challenges in one sitting on the same day. You can split it up into multiple shoots over multiple days. We can't tell the difference after the edit. 😂
Thanks for not going negative, downgrading the foods, and keeping in mind the effort it takes to make them. This taste testing is entirely subjective and personal, as you may not like a particular type of food, but it is actually well-crafted, cooked, and seasoned. Someone else may think it's excellent and delicious.
I've learned that I have to eat something before watching any of Paolo's videos. Every time I end up craving something to eat. This time was no exception! Thank you for this fun video!!
I love your work ethics. I can sense your dedication to your craft. Its not about making just any video but you choose to spread positivity and put negativity on the side. Thank you.
Makes sense. For all the positivity and popularity Paolo gave to restaurants, the exact opposite can happen too if he isn’t careful with what he says. He’s got influence, good to see he’s using it responsibly.
I’m so happy the nearest konbini from my place is seven eleven. They have the best tasting convenience store food, my husband loves their koroke and menchi katsu. I love their cheese curry bread and curry bread. 🥹💕 we both love nanachiki
Konbini food is amazing. I had it on all my Japan trips. You can eat almost restaurant level food. Also, healthy, fresh foods if you are looking for that. Every major city offers an abundance of Konbini stores.
It's my dream to visit Japan and especially the convenience stores, they blow me away just seeing them in videos. I could only wish convenience stores in the UK were anything like the Japanese ones!
I’ve been to Japan several times and upon return people or friends may ask what I really liked. Well, it’s the start of a good conversation when I say “the 7/11 stores”.
Thank you for taking this bullet for us, I always think I would do something like this when I go to Japan, but I could never bring myself to do it for some reason once I'm there haha. Hope you are okay after this video, have an awesome weekend Paolo!
Hard to tell what spicy is to Paolo when he's drinking from his own hot sauce bottle. Even for those that like hot sauce, that is one spicy hot sauce to drink. 😮🔥
Thank you so much for this video. My family's here now and put 7-eleven to the side for shopping Lawson's and Family Mart. We may just get dinner from 7-eleven tonight after watching this video. 😁
I agree with you. No need to put down restaurants. It sucks when people leave bad reviews for trivial things, when it’s really not necessary. Thanks for taking one for the team bro. 🐓
I just got back from Japan last week. And definitely made a stops at 7-11 and Family Mart. I don't normally go Lawson or Mini Mart. Don't know why, I just don't...LOL. Thanks for the your ranking. I've tried your #3, 5, 6 and 7. I loved them all. Now I really want to try the other 3 of your top 7. A reason to do another visit to Japan...konbini food driven. 😂
I discovered the curry bread a few weeks ago while I was there and the first bite gave me Paolo stars vibes. The fluffy bread and curry inside was insane. Was so happy I started messaging friends straight away.
Paolo, only 3 mmmm’s from you! Two mmmm’s came when you added your hot sauce so seems it wasn’t your favorite challenge! It would never occur to me to eat at 7/11 when we visit Japan, we are too busy going to your favorite places! 🤭☺️
Thanks for the positive approach. Some people don't understand that content creators have immense influence, especially if they have a large following. A single video about a restaurant you don't like could affect someone's livelihood negatively. With that said, when I was in Japan last year. The curry breads from 7-Eleven were so good, was my go to quick snack when ever I wanted something warm and quick.
Paolo, apologies for getting a bit deep here, but I just wanted to say that you INSPIRE people. I really like Japan, it's a place that speaks to my heart, and you have a really warm personality that is easy to watch. It shows all of the time, and it makes the videos feel... cozy, I guess! I also love food, and you make a lot of food related videos, so it goes hand in hand. I'd love to make content like you one day, so I thought I'd let you know that you're doing amazing things and people REALLY enjoy the content you create here on TH-cam! Keep being you!
so cool! I haven't made it through the whole video yet (forgive me, illness kind of dictates how long I can watch) but everything looks so amazing! I wish they had a Buc'ees in Japan to see if it would do well or not! that's the golden standard of Texas convenience store food. But looking forward to watching the rest and please feel better! all that fried food had to hurt!
I bought 2 of your hot sauce bottles a few months ago and I really do love it! But my intestines don't necessarily love it the next day lol. I add it to almost every food I eat and I've already gone through one bottle. It's kinda a shame it's so small, but at least it's so potent that you only really need a few drops of it
Reminds of Keith doing "Eat The Menu"(Try Guys Channel), his final mention is for "the best and LEAST BEST" 😂 instead of the worst. Haha cuz he also tried to be more positive 😂 if they go to Japan, or u go to LA would love a collab. ❤
And one day hopefully, I will be able to buy your hot sauce and a T-shirt! goals! looking forward to it :D Will you ever bring back your Shibuya shirt with the cute little ghost? anyhow it goes it will be a lot of fun!
I'm a lightweight when it comes to hot sauce, so the Umami Ocean is perfect for me. Lots of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. I took it to work and had them try it out as well.
Korokke is based on the French croquette introduced to Japan in 1887. But as with many things introduced to Japan, the Japanese made it uniquely their own. Just like tonkatsu, korokke is breaded with panko, which gives it that nice crunchiness. I wish supermarket delis in the US would sell korokke along with their fried chickens. Here are 2 famous Japanese tongue twisters '"Tokyo Tokkyo Kyoka kyoku" ( tokyo patent office ) & "Basu Gasu Bakuhatsu" ( bus gas explosion ) 😝
I loved the concept of the video, but execution was lacking. When you make a declaration like you're gonna eat 63 different fried foods from the Konbini's, I'd love to know who has the best Karaage, best chicken thigh piece, best skewer, curry pan, etc. rather than just your favourites. Maybe even like a tier list or something? Thank you for the effort you've put into this Paolo, and the sacrifice of your gut health for the video. Thanks, and looking forward to the next video!!
Yeah, if he went through all the trouble & cost of trying 63 items, he should've ranked it by categories (kara-age, korokke, hash browns etc.) Maybe he was too nauseated during editing & decided to simplify the ranking. I don't think Paolo would lie, but talk is cheap. It would've been more convincing if he had all 63 items piled up on the table for us to see.
No matter how much you eat, the shit will still come out in a regular log shaped form (unless he's constipated or has diarrhea). It will be longer than usual, but that's nothing Paolo can't handle. His hot sauce though, might burn his anus on the way out. You make it sound like a mountain of shit is gonna rip through his butthole, but that's not gonna happen.
Japanese people are very practical and down-to-earth. How do they perceive you as a TH-camr? You are always eating, but your weight always seems the same, and you never seem to gain any weight.
Hey Paolo! I have a question on the debate of wether or not to pierce a baby's earlopes. Do Kids in Japan get in trouble for having pierced ears when they enter school (because of the strict dress code)? Do they have to take them out during school? Which schools allow them? And can you bypass that when someone comes from a culture where it is normal that kid's ears are pierced? Is it frowned upon? Can you investigate this topic?
This reminds me of the movie Super Size Me. I hope you have a week of vegi after this. Thank you for your videos :-) I have your hot Sause, & the hot is quite hot... not opened the mild one yet. Had not thought to put it on fried foods, just morning eggs...

If I was you, I would break it down to a 6 part episode And break it down into ten foods
I would like to try your hot sauce, but it contains wheat so I unfortunately can't try it (I have celiac).
can you make a video about sport camera operator or about broadcasting
Not into trying food anymore . For health issues
Thank you for being so nice and not putting negativity. I think that is amazing!
Next video is the day in the life of a Heart Surgeon.
🤣
HAHAHAHA
Or a plumber
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Theyre too busy, paolo will just get in their way 😂
Not Paolo putting out this video just when I started my diet 😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
can't spell diet without "die" 😅

This taste testing is entirely subjective and personal, as you may not like a particular type of food, but it is actually well-crafted, cooked, and seasoned. Someone else may think it's excellent and delicious.
In addition, if you are too full to eat you won’t appreciate the taste of other food.
But then whats the point of him shoving fried food into his face with the only commentary being dad jokes?
The Whole Foods tasting is kind of off considering it's fried food. Fried food is meant to be eaten right after It is fried.
Trash is trash. Grow up.
I heard you can get sued in Asian countries for criticizing
I've learned that I have to eat something before watching any of Paolo's videos. Every time I end up craving something to eat. This time was no exception! Thank you for this fun video!!
I just watch it while eating. I also watch Inside The Chieftain's Hatch while eating
Why do I always watch these food videos just before bed time? Why?
63 fried foods? They call that Tuesday in Mississippi. 🍗 😂
Yeah north mississippi maybe
the obesity rate is showing accordingly

I like how your videos are very informative, you spread positivity and your dad jokes😁
Awesome video as always Paolo. You are true Food Connoisseur.
Honesty is most important. Even if it means negativity. Fried foods can go bad so quickly after they’re fried.
Finally a Konbini video where 7elevens gets some dubs instead of FamilyMart. I loved 7eleven food so much more then FamilyMart when I was in Japan
Paolo put his stomach on the line 😂
Thank you for taking this bullet for us, I always think I would do something like this when I go to Japan, but I could never bring myself to do it for some reason once I'm there haha. Hope you are okay after this video, have an awesome weekend Paolo!
That "crunchiest" hash brown looked sooooooo good. UGH! I need hash browns now!
I refuse to believe Famichiki ended up at #7
Hard to tell what spicy is to Paolo when he's drinking from his own hot sauce bottle. Even for those that like hot sauce, that is one spicy hot sauce to drink. 😮🔥
Gigachad reason for saying no to the negativity🥇👍
Thank you so much for this video. My family's here now and put 7-eleven to the side for shopping Lawson's and Family Mart. We may just get dinner from 7-eleven tonight after watching this video. 😁
Feels like I am watching an Advertisement for Tabasco Hot sauce in all. 😂
Using his hot sauce while watching this can confirm they are bangers
Thanks ,i could never eat 62 different fried foods. Your the man
Could have easily broke it up to 10 fried foods a day

Just got back from Fukuoka last week and I was able to try your top 1! It's sooo good!!!

of his prized Famichiki! 😄
I love the corndogs! Especially with their mustard/ ketchup packet
We need the unedited version of this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I would love to see a Day in a life of an new Expat and a behind the scenes video on what all goes in doing these videos

Literally Paolo, I was just watching of the the (Japanese Convenience Store) videos. I've been watching them all day!!
Such a cool video, Thank you for always posting fun and interesting content!

You can't go wrong with Seven Eleven Curry pan! Great video.

With that said, when I was in Japan last year. The curry breads from 7-Eleven were so good, was my go to quick snack when ever I wanted something warm and quick.
Is it me or does Paolo secretly watch BeardMeatsFood with that "Let's get it!" Love the videos as always.
hi! please can you make a "a day in a life of a japanese agriculturist" been a fan of your " a day in a life of a japanese" series since last year.
How do they improve if not given a somewhat negative/critizing comment about their food?
The curry pan from 7 eleven will be one of the first things I’ll grab on my next trip in March! I love curry pan!
Love the video! always been curious about the fried foods😋

Your so nice, don’t put any negativity to everything, just good vibes,, really inspiring TH-camr
AHHHHH thxxx for your content

« im gonna eat fried food tomorrow » 😂😂😂
Amazing food review!
Keep your smile man!! it makes me to smile too
We felt that Family Mart is better than 7-11 in Osaka, and we heard the locals agree. Are there other regional preferences?
I just want to say your hot sauce is amazing but the first time I tried it I almost died because I put wayyyyy too much lol
Why can't convenience stores in the US have these 😭😭😭
Look at you Paolo, living my dream!!! hahahahaa

I'm a lightweight when it comes to hot sauce, so the Umami Ocean is perfect for me. Lots of flavor, and just the right amount of heat. I took it to work and had them try it out as well.
2 questions: What food you don't like and how do you eat this much and don't get stomachache...
It's called editing
Paolo is bulimic 🤮

Hello from the PH!
Love your videos!!! Maybe I’ll get to visit someday.
HAHAHA, heart attack ahahha. No way bro, you got this!
Paolo forgot to say "itadakimas" 😂
as for the menchi katsu, looks like the plant based protein was mixed to the minced beef as an extender to make it cheaper.
We have both of your sauces, and your original is so spicy and awesome with lime! I but honestly would love to see it on the Hot ones show lineup 😊🔥
Agreed. That original is pretty damn hot too. It would be the...7th wing? 9th, even? I use a few drops usually. I can't imagine a wing doused in it.
I think being negative is not because how are they going know if it’s bad if nobody is telling them ?

There was a recent news article that 7-11 is going to try to make their US stores more like their Japanese stores. I hope they bring some great food!
mini stop here in the Philippines have closed. my go to convenient store besided 7/11…
Bro is worried how it will go down....he needs to worry how it will ALL come out.... Da 🕳️ can only stretch so far😂😂😂

The best Japanese TH-camr strikes again. We are blessed fr

I can’t wait until the 7-Elevens in California got converted to Japanese food.
cro (crow) quette (kette like kettle) would be the best way I can describe croquet in American because in french it sounds very different
