I didn’t realize that the Everlys had been to the UK as early as 1957. Wow!! I tend to think of dates in terms of the Beatles so going with that train of thought, Paul and John hadn’t even met until July 6, 1957. I think I know how the Everlys felt about the UK. My first trip there was 1971 and I adored it. I since made about 45 subsequent trips there including living in London for a while in 1977. I always feel very at home there. Particular in the mid-70s and 80s, sometimes I almost felt like a commuter between NYC and London!! I love all the history there, the beautiful scenery when you get out of the cities, and I’ve always found the people to be very welcoming. I sense a great vibe when I’m there. Really enjoyed this video.

No, Danica - Don is the one with the darker, slightly curly hair and wears dark glasses in some shots. Phil has the lighter, brown hair. Don sings the melody and does the solos, while Phil has a higher voice and does the harmonies.
Nowadays ,they sure don't make music like the oldies music way back from those good old' in days ( generations) 30's, 40' s 50's ,60,s 70,s classic time period thst are now locked away in aold' in days classical time capsule from long ago.,only to r eminisce about for future generations ( I was born 11/02/68 l) ,damn I was born in the wrong generation. I should have been born in July , 2, 1948 as this idea would have been 💡ideal4 me! It's strange that Don was more of a Demoncrat and Phil was a Conservative. There was a division between them. Don supported Clinton in 2016.
