This is one of my favorite episodes of the Twilight Zone. Nice to see people have interest enough in it to recreate episodes. This was a nice production.
Brilliant! Another great production. Well done, All! (Standing ovation! Whistles! Cheers! Shouts of 'Bravo! Bravo!') Rod Serling would gave been so proud. I know I am. 😊 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thanx so very much for sharing! I look forward to your next TZ presentation!
Better ending: She finally makes contact with Brian then we see them chat chatting away. ... then see she has passed away ... So really she is now with him in heaven as she obviously has a fondness for Brian after all these years.
Old age is a difficult experience. I’m “only” 64 so my journey is just beginning. My parents lived into their 90s. I’m not looking forward to the next 30 years.
It's an acting workshop, glad people could do what they love at any age even if retired. I watched it because the story sounded interesting, never saw the original. Guess that's what's next on my viewing list lol.
Especially when so-called "loved ones" consider that it's too much bother from their "important" lives than being with them in their final days, however long that may be. Life is too short and precious! The lady actor did such a great job portraying what truly is too often occurring these days! Peace
This is a remake of a very early Twilight zone(I believe season 1)The original was good because phones were fairly new when the first one came out so it was more relevant as strange from tech that was new.
"Oh -- a light bill! How stimulating!" (throws it onto the table, LOL) Well we've all been THERE, haven't we? Some VERY effective music used throughout - well done. I love the cemetery scene, esp. Margaret's hand movements, which seemed genuine. That was a very nice touch. An all-around good production. Such a sad story. I always liked the Night Call episode from the Zone, and I appreciate your tribute to it.
Some of us come for the movie and not the description. Smh, your cynacism doesn't add anything except disappointment. With Google at our fingertips the world is full of genius. We need moar art and expression. Less criticism.
@@katieosborn9345 I agree but unfortunately this comes with the territory, ie; artististic differences, movie critics. I appreciate art and music. This interpretation is watch worthy. I think the late great creator of "The Twighlight Zone" would be flattered that people are still interested in his 🎥 work.
I would like to know more about the production of these plays. I am guessing it is a project produced by and staffed by senior talent. I find them really interesting! I totally support productions for a great cause. Thanks for the upload, Donna Leraci!
Wow. Quite the ending. Ultimately, her attitude towards him will forever affect her and stay in, The Twilight Zone. This was a great Project though! Good job. I was intrigued at where the story could possible be going. Did truly feel like a Twilight Zone concept. :)
I can relate to her and the original episode, when my father passed, I kept getting calls at 2:002:30 in the morning, it kept me up almost all night , I called my at&t provider the next morning, ,she says.... ""their Was NO CALLS around that time.."on ur line""....😱😱😱😱😱.
Happened to me. Dad passed away 2020. My phone rang at 1am at the day of my birthday but I didn't picked it up. Asked my mom the next day if she called me that late she said no and why would she call me on a landline when she can call me using her mobile phone 🤷🏼♂ I made a right decision for not picking it up because if that call was an emergency my cellphone would blow up with texts and calls but none. Also, Nobody knows my landline number. I live in my apartment alone so that kind of stuff makes me uncomfortable.
Myself as the original number one fan of this episode from the tzone, i , like YOU must make the obvious comment. ,"nothing is better than the original, but applause at a damn good try, you audience of one."
This would have been even better with an intro and outro either from TOS or one of the remakes. Really well done. The acting was a bit stiff at first but at the end the old lady was totally in her role!
Reality is when your mother doesn't know who you are. But she could point at "nothing" from her bed and told me names of her cats and doggies from years ago! And didn't recognize me, AT ALL! It was more than "heart-breaking" to know she wouldn't be with me any much longer. Peace
most people only care about wealth . poor old and or poor disabled people have it horrible . i am 50 , poor and disabled and being poor and disabled is horrible . most people dont care . they pretend to care if they can get the money from the wealthy old and or disabled . most humans do not deserve to breath .
I would do anything to hear my fiancee again. Stupid epliespy took him away in 2015. I think I'll never be with another guy again. He was my first and only😭
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Hun. That must be so hard.My brother was taken in an accident, and was kllled instantly, and altho not the same, it was devastating also. Never shut the door completely on love; leave it ajar, so that a little light can come back in to your world when the time is right. Has good funny moments but a few crucial spots are bad and make no sense. 11:36 is very funny and more dramatic but then on the phone in bed she's saying where are you? That section is bad. Overall this is very good :)
There used to be a belief that elderly, ill, or weak people would catch pneumonia from being exposed to the outside air, not to mention cooler temperatures. Ridiculous; I never believed it.

My favorite one, thanks for putting it out here to see. Peace ✌️ from Saginaw Michigan Dontoons
I'm watching this at 5:56 in the morning. It's raining cats and dogs with a ton of lightning. Perfect ambiance.
Definitely ❤
Oh, I love hard rain and lightening. We don't get much here, mostly dripping rain with more dripping rain the next day.
I'm 5.03 am
Brilliant!

This was really well done and I actually felt sad for the poor old woman at the end.
Party lines, rotary dial phones -the good old days!
Connie Crawford yes indeed💯❤
I remember listening in on my grandma's third party line! I always got in trouble for that. Boy the gossip I'd hear! Lol😁
5/2019
The older shows are the best ☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️
Better ending: She finally makes contact with Brian then we see them chat chatting away. ... then see she has passed away ... So really she is now with him in heaven as she obviously has a fondness for Brian after all these years.
She's very much alive in the end
One of my favorites.
Beautifully done.
Very very well done
Great use of music.
I like the actual episode and I love this one too
Really well done ladies ❤️
Yeah these chicks did a great job
I always, always loved this episode. There’s just something about the elderly that I really sympathize for.
Old age is a difficult experience. I’m “only” 64 so my journey is just beginning. My parents lived into their 90s. I’m not looking forward to the next 30 years.
Her homegirl is strong af. Pushing that wheelchair up the hill like Ray Lewis.
I love this episode 😊❤
I accidentally watched this I thought it was an actual episode of The Twilight Zone
this isn't the real deal? props to all you all...I thought it was cheese for a minute, but well fucking done!
I'm 3 mins in and I knew something wasn't right...the film quality gave it away. But the comments made me want to continue watching
It's an acting workshop, glad people could do what they love at any age even if retired. I watched it because the story sounded interesting, never saw the original. Guess that's what's next on my viewing list lol.
I actually thought it was the real deal all the way to the end...
Tatyana Govea the original would be black and white
This is very good. VERY GOOD! Well done.
Really wonderful, great to see people watching this piece of cinema
Those calls were almost as bad as the telemarketer calls I constantly get.
1:04 they paid someone to shake the plant when they could have just used a fan.
😂😂😂😂😂
Inachu Ikimasho 🤣😂😅
D Frazier there is a SNL with bruce willis in an airplane. you must watch that. :)
Inachu Ikimasho I was thinking the same thing
🤣🤣
This poor old woman was treated like dirt by her "helper" and the operator. Sadly, this is so true in the lives of so many elderly people.

On my husband's account- Wish I could give a LOVE,so I'll give a like to this masterpiece recreation of a masterpiece,BRAVO :)) ENCORE!!! ENCORE!!!
I loved the original of this -- it scared me very much
Yeah, the original was more suspenseful and creepy!
@jo egleton,
I agree with you.👍 The Oldies were much better.💕
Do you watch One Step Beyond? Those still freak me out! 🤤 Bahahaha
The older shows are the best ☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️☎️
She's sitting at the table with a telephone that is older than she is...🤣🤣🤣🤣😂
I know!! Your comment had me rollin’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very smart comment.
Actually she probably had one when she was a little girl.
Haha
That is kinda mean
I KNEW it was a cemetery before they said it!
Such a mean, unforgiving ghost!! 🤔🙄
If she turns over on that bed she would fall off lol
Omg, I said the same thing!🤣 Like, who got their grandma sleepin on a cot!?😳
LMAO- LOL!
This is excellent.. a bunch of us over in Philadelphia just watched this.. :)
Unplug that thing""
We don't want none!!🤤🤤👍
I think in the original it is unplugged at one time.
One turn and she is on the floor.
Thank you Donna for this episode of The Twilight Zone.
Thank you very much uploading. However, TH-cam's advertising often robs the movie of its greatness.
When the phone rang i looked over then realized i dont have a phone like that in years that i have a cell phone flashback too the ninetys wow
This is a remake of a very early Twilight zone(I believe season 1)The original was good because phones were fairly new when the first one came out so it was more relevant as strange from tech that was new.
YES!!!! the beginning of this video put me in the mood for enya.

Mlm
After she hung up the phone, later that night she died of a broken 💔
Yelp
Hello, hello, HELLO.
This can't be a "Twilight Zone" production of the 80's ?
Must be a "homemade version".
Is a 2016 class project. Is on the description
lol, Grant is a wee bit slow on the uptake! haha
Ya' think Grant?

This is remake of the classic episode that started the legendary British character actress Gladys Cooper.
Wow. Quite the ending. Ultimately, her attitude towards him will forever affect her and stay in, The Twilight Zone. This was a great Project though! Good job. I was intrigued at where the story could possible be going. Did truly feel like a Twilight Zone concept. :)

Cool! Nice Job
I love the original too,but that bed was tiny cuz it's a play.
I love old shows and movies sends chills up your spine ☎️📞☎️📞☎️ 🙀🙀🙀
I ve always loved old ladies, I love to hear them about their lifes, sometimes it s full of surprises ♥️😊
Except their perfume eww
I bet the dead have tried contacting the living that way
Even it was a spirit at least someone was calling
Classic is still better
Myself as the original number one fan of this episode from the tzone, i , like YOU must make the obvious comment. ,"nothing is better than the original, but applause at a damn good try, you audience of one."
Oh. My bed is that small but I didn't know it until I read the comments.
I liked this. It's an amateur production, the camera fade outs were good. The acting was ok. I liked it & didnt try to compare it with the original.👍
I think a better ending would have been in this case is her being able to have her have a connection with the ex. Then have the scene trailing off.
That other woman is nearly as old. The older lady is old enough to remember the episode when it aired.
I love this.
That was just totally abusive. That poor little woman having to sleep in that small bed and being harassed by the phone.
LMAO, your so right
Really ??!😂😂😂
@Daniela Amen
Jeez....That bed is about the size of a coffin.
Keith Garland I think it folds into one. As soon as she croaks, they can wheel her straight to her tomb.
Lmao fr😂
yeah I was thinking similarly. It's so small that if she lay on her side she might fall off!
MUAHAAH YES. IT IS!
This would have been even better with an intro and outro either from TOS or one of the remakes. Really well done. The acting was a bit stiff at first but at the end the old lady was totally in her role!
Good Job!
That ghost got on my daggone nerves playing telephone games, lol!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍
I would have took phone off the hook an went back to sleep
Why did it take so long for him to call her?? lol typical men even when they're dead take forever to call you back 😄😄
They do not install phone lines in graves when you die. Dah!!!!
The most entertainment that she can have. Oh well.
that poor older lady putting up with that crap.
Debberra Harriman Come to Britain mate. We got this shit 24/7 with Indian call centres
liam whitcombe XD
Here in the Netherlands too, very annoying.
Debberra Harriman 🤣🤣🤣
liam whitcombe I’m in Britain 🤣🤣🤣
I love the classic with Gladys Cooper. I have the complete original series and wish I had the revivals 85 and 2002 too.
And so?
9:37 excellent use of shadows!
Check out Gladys Cooper with a baby Robert Redford in Nothing in the Dark episode of Twilight Ozond. Excellent !
Allison Payne You mean the episode Alone in the Dark. Great episode. So is The passage of Lady Anne.
I'm watching this at 5:26 am after listening to the radio one trying to see how this one is. Lol 😆
Can you do 22 as your next Twilight Zone reenactment
Very good Donna!
Let the helper answer the phone.
So sad at the end. 🌷
I guess that Brian was very pissed off after what happened to him.
Well done! Thank you!
Most depressing episode. Cruel and hateful way to treat the elderly. Ending broke my heart.

To a story of Richard Matheson
If he always does what she wants him to, why wouldn't he speak to her when she told him to..🤔
She looks to be around 70 yrs old where l come from 70 isn't that old, she should be walking and meeting people.
Actually, Shirley was in her 90s when she did that episode. She still going strong. Not to mention, the storyline has the character being handicapped.
You have my apologies.
Glad to hear she's still alive
Ms. Kean is fine. Margaret is a bit stiff as an actor. Good recreation.
How tf she sleep like that?? 😹
10 seconds in and ads😡 no wonder so many Americans have no attention span beyond a minute.
bravo! well played!
I enjoyed this Great time relaxing and watching
I'm so sorry that you couldn't have more time with your fiancé and the damned phone was giving you crap!😭😩😭💚
Someone needs to do Sims 4 “Night Call” ! 😃
I would do anything to hear my fiancee again. Stupid epliespy took him away in 2015. I think I'll never be with another guy again. He was my first and only😭
You just need a shoulder to cry on babe

I lost my husband at sixteen and I still haven't completely got over it even though I was only married three months but it does get easier
Elizabeth Nobody I’m sorry 😐 for your lost. I hope things get better for you.
If he had to everything she she wanted, wouldn't he come back when she told him to?

So sweet
Beginning of show…She looks so tiny in that little bed lol 😂
If she rolled over in her sleep she'd fall out that tiny ass bed
I hope my boyfriend talks to me from the grave if he dies first, I love him so much....❤️
Me too
How is going out in the fresh air 'not good for her?
There used to be a belief that elderly, ill, or weak people would catch pneumonia from being exposed to the outside air, not to mention cooler temperatures. Ridiculous; I never believed it.
When was this aired?
Could have been worse, it could have been people phoning the man in the box asking had he ever had ppi.
This is all scientifically accurate.
