I agree. I have received more complements with voyage than any other type. I literally could not wear it around 3 or 4 people at my last job because it would cause "problems" for a few women.
Voyage was my signature scent for years when I was in my mid to late 20s and even into my early 30s but then I started discovering other fragrances. Now, while I still like the scent, I can't wear it because of the powdery notes. It smothers me. I still recommend it to young folks just getting started on their fragrance journey. It's a good fragrance to start with in my opinion.
There's a reason why Nautica Voyage keeps winning blind comparison videos. It is universally liked and videos like this one is not going to change that fact.
Voyage is the fragrance I keep in my car just incase but pretty decent cheepy. I use to use it as my daily work fragrance but recently changed to Coach for my daily and just put this in my car.
Voyage smells good for the $15 price tag, but I agree that it’s worth forking out a few more bucks for 360 Red, if you want a cheap aquatic. Women seem to love that one on me, and always gets compliments. Although I did date a beautiful girl many years ago that was obsessed with Voyage. Versace pour homme and Man Eau Fraiche could have easily been in this list as well. Not as aquatic, but better freshies in my opinion.
even after trying so many fragrance, my sis and my gf still prefers Voyage, simple clean and fresh. The only other fragrance they enjoy that much is Mont Blanc Legend EDP, even Bleu De Chanel doesnt top both of these for them

in my summer/freshie/acquatics camp I use both ADG Profumo and Profondo, D&G LB eau intense and Aoud Lemon mint. In my household I gave one son nautica voyage and my other son Lattafa Suqraat as their beginner scents. I feel across the whole house the fresh category is well serviced. I tried Voyage and it is OK, think Suqraat is a better cheapie. Alas Hawas seems quite pricey these days
I have 200ml bottles of Nautica Voyage, Davidoff Cool Water and Boss Bottled. They are great fragrances but as I have a lot of it and they are affordable I feel I can use some for experimentation. Any layering suggestions to make them more exciting would be appreciated. Greetings from Sweden.
I got a decant of Versace Pour Homme recently and while I like the scent, the performance on it is pretty bad. It's definitely a fragrance you have to overspray to get decent projection and longevity. If you don't overspray, it becomes a skin scent just after 2-3 hours of spraying.

Btw, have you ever tried Rain by Royal Crown? what do u think about it? lots of people said that its similar to Creed GIT but much better. SOTD : YSL Y EDP Intense. Need something smell refreshing coz the temperature in Indonesia has been very hot lately. SOTN : CK Be.

For me, I had Ralph Lauren Romance and Ralph Lauren Romance Silver, Joop, Acqua Di Gio, Coolwater Echo. I tried Voyage in about 2018 and thought it was gross.
DG light blue smells more "egg-y" to me rather than salty-sea like NV does. The same egg-y scent I found in AB blue seduction. I don't know if anyone also have this experience.😢 But so far, I put Hawas on the first and NV in the 2nd.
THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN NAUTICA VOYAGE, IN THE WHOLE MULTIVERSE! Just kidding! I've had NV for as long as I can remember, don't grab it as often as I used to; being that I have the D&G LB Eau Intense, Versace Pour Homme, MB Legend Spirit & the Rasasi Hawas for Him. They are all compliment pullers, along with the NV; but I have noticed that the others are a bit more well rounded fragrances. Like you, I agree; it's a great fragrance. Love the content. About perry ellis red, to me it has a spicy undertone to it which I personally did not like. It almost feels like it's peppery and fresh? Hard to describe, but do take note of that if you're purchasing it.
Hi Omar. Would you consider Azzar Chrome edt to be alike? I had that, and it sounds like that's similiar. Aquatic, citrusy, and a bit musky. Very inoffensive and I got a few compliments during hot summer days.

Everybody who says this smells like cucumber has either never tried it or has a broken nose. It clearly smells like a strong honey dew or melon smell, very strong and linear. You can get them on clearance for $12 at Marshalls or $28 for the 200ml bottle. Easily lasts 5-6 hours and punches well above it's class. Haters are mad $10 frag gets more compliments and wins more comparisons than whatever crap they bought at Macy's for $150. You can layer it with so many things. Even the bottle looks nice. Destroys cool water and a bunch of other blue scents easily.

Megamare by Orto Parisi is the strongest aquatic I have experienced by a large margin. If you like aquatic fragrances you have to SAMPLE Megamare,do NOT blind buy. It's so strong 5ml can last a long time. Just a dab will have you smelling it for months.
I really wanted to love megare as I adore aquatics and I have lots of niche in my collection. Mega mare gave me a strong windex vibe, I could not get past the piercing chemical note😟

You want a nicer alternative to Nautica Voyage, get Emir's A chaos in the Ocean. Orto Parisi Megamare clone. Imo its not as intense as Megamare, so that's a plus..
I also want to admit in comments here, that Mr Fragrant EDP is very clever and beautifully created perfumery. I enjoy it very much! Very nice video, I love these comparisons. I think, Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Intense and Versace Pour Homme are so well constructed. I love both very much. In future, I think I will purchase 200 ml. of the first one for life. I think Xerjoff 40 Knots will be one of the most luxurious choices regarding acquatic facets in perfumery. From the niche realm, my recommendation is Kilian Vodka on the Rocks EDP. I want to admit, that I am not of the fan of this niche house at all. But this is a very creative, very clean perfumery, which shows have creative formulations could be built with Ambroxan and Oakmoss raw materials. Linear, very pleasant, owns an elegant touch, overpriced though. But I recommend to sample this.
Nautica Voyage is a very good entry level fragrance. But all of those mentioned are far superior in most or all respects except Perry Ellis Red. Red lasts far less on my skin

I bought a large bottle of Light Blue Intense a few years ago since Jeremy Fragrance was saying it was the best summer scent. But it actually smells like crap IMO, exactly the same as really bad lemon air freshener. What a huge waste of money that was! I'm shocked that this channel owner is also recommending that garbage too.

Iv noticed what appeals to me is issey miyake, I just bought this community fragrance love child called Nautica voyage but the imposter designer "You" by Ck is still better than this at far cheaper price. Nautical Voyage 100% overrated, don't get the hype,won't even bother wearing it again . As for compliment getters..ADG absolu, Montblanc Legend Spirit, Versace Pour Homme, and Coach Open Road. Haven't tried Hawas yet, the hype upped it's price in UK, will buy it sometime to see if its worth the hype.

EVERYTHING is superior to Nautica Voyage. The following public service announcement very badly needs to be made by someone with the balls to say it, and I just happen to have those balls. Nautica Voyage smells like Windex that's been pumped through 100 yards of hot rubber hose. Go smell it for yourself - you will never be able to unsmell it after that. Voyage is the only fragrance that was so synthetically horrible that once I put it on, it actually got me to walk right back into the shower and wash it back off before going to the gym. It's that bad. If you need a better alternative that doesn't smell like Windex pumped through a rubber hose, Nautica Blue is way better. Nautica Blue still sucks compared to good stuff like YSL Y EDP, but if you need dirt cheap stuff that passes as a men's fragrance and not a railway chemical spill, Blue is better.
Original Tahoe or even Great life ( designer imposter ) is better than this bland Nautica voyage that smells like a lady that just came out of saloon with sweet smelling jelled hair

Let it sit for a few months. I bought a full sized bottle and it didn't get to the 8 hour mark til almost 6 months after buying it.
i just rasasi hawas recently, put it on today, and my goodness it projects like crazy. nice chewy bubble gum smell definetly turns the heads.
Narciso Rodriguez Blue Noir EDT Extreme is a wonderful alternative as well. Clean, citrusy, icy and musky. Smells great in the heat!

Nautical Voyage 100% overrated, don't get the hype,won't even bother wearing it again . As for compliment getters..ADG absolu, Montblanc Legend Spirit, Versace Pour Homme, and Coach Open Road.
Haven't tried Hawas yet, the hype upped it's price in UK, will buy it sometime to see if its worth the hype.

Thats because majority of the people are like me who does not have a trained nose and cant percieve these synthetic and complicated notes and whatnot. Thats why NV is mass appealing especially in 3rd world countries cause not everyone is a fragrance expert. Though it probably is overused as it is very cheap in the market so dont expect much on uniqueness. but it definetely a very fresh and refreshing scent that the masses like

EVERYTHING is superior to Nautica Voyage. The following public service announcement very badly needs to be made by someone with the balls to say it, and I just happen to have those balls. Nautica Voyage smells like Windex that's been pumped through 100 yards of hot rubber hose. Go smell it for yourself - you will never be able to unsmell it after that. Voyage is the only fragrance that was so synthetically horrible that once I put it on, it actually got me to walk right back into the shower and wash it back off before going to the gym. It's that bad. If you need a better alternative that doesn't smell like Windex pumped through a rubber hose, Nautica Blue is way better. Nautica Blue still sucks compared to good stuff like YSL Y EDP, but if you need dirt cheap stuff that passes as a men's fragrance and not a railway chemical spill, Blue is better.
