@@squatch253 Hoo,Lordy. That comment alone got me thinking about you and your days at your Ford prison. Watching your patient reassembly here,on,off,on,off, rinse and repeat. I betcha you just hated the flat rate book.
Makes me wonder, did you ever do air conditioning or electrical work ? Or did you try to concentrate on doing repairs that worked to the strengths of your personality ?
As I type this,an ad showed up for Ford service at a dealership. More than a little ironic . Brings memories of my days at a Ford dealership in Vancouver. It too went out of business, years ago.
      All the best.

@@squatch253 Ah yes, intermittent electrical work. Traditional wiring harness diagram, from oh,1925 to oh,1985 perhaps, was 2 pages. My friends 1990s Town Cars had a factory wiring diagram of 23 pages. And all of them had ongoing electrical issues. About half intermittent. That statement brought back some memories all right.
Somehow the act of cutting firewood just got a whole lot more attractive. Or maybe running the manure spreader.

Great work Toby! Lots pf hard work went into getting Old Christine to this point for primer and you should be proud of that. Resurrecting her back from almost scrap is amazing to see. I know your not getting the views you’d like but those of us that enjoy this series are happy to see you getting her back to life. I know she’s been hard on you but you did an amazing job. Now you can take a breather and work on preparation H and have some fun again. Thanks again and can’t wait to see you start on the front bolster to get her to a rolling chassis again along with the pressure plate for the clutch. Looking forward to the next video!

I have ner seen a Menneapolis Moline irl, dont think they were sold this side of the pond but this series got me hooked. Its so interesting to see the difference between a prototype machine and a production version. Not to mention the awesome videos you put out and all the explanation you provide us. I'd hazard a guess it takes forever to film and explain everything to us less knowledgeble. Kepp it @Squatch253 !

A great stopping point, and a major milestone as well on the rebuild. Hopefully the transmission and rear assembly was the worst you needed to address on this tractor. I know the front bolster is still to come, and was blown out, but that shouldnt be much re-creation, more just machining the repaired areas. Sheet metal is sheet metal, and while a PITA sometimes is infinitely repairable. With any luck, the worst is now past, and Christine understands that it will be a tractor again, whether she likes it or not. Will be continuing to tune in for the summer work on the Farmall H, and sticking around to see more progress on X231 come the fall!!!

@@squatch253 It's a fascinating document. The drawing style is very old school, just how I learned it way back in the Dark Ages, with curving arrows and hand lettering. The construction materials they used are about what I would expect. Red oak for the structure, poplar for the paneling, and cypress for exposed roof parts. Every piece has a part number so I assume there were drawings. No doubt long gone. Thanks again.

Seems to me to be a design problem causing the wear. Really enjoying your videos 👍👊
