I am not sure where you are located, but I took a "discovery flight" at a local airport and I was able to sit down with the certified flight instructor and see what it would take to be a private pilot. I suggest that and possibly finding a local ground school while continuing to learn online as well. Good luck!

Large airports with lots of taxiways may use a letter in combination with a number to simplify taxiway navigation. For example, if taxiway Romeo is parallel with a runway and has many short branches leading onto/off of the runway, you might see taxiways labeled R1, R2, R3, etc all the way down the length of the runway, which connect the runway to parallel taxiway Romeo instead of giving each short entrance/exit of the runway an entirely new letter

I’m not a pilot, nor trained in flight, but I do think this is very accurate information. If you are not sure, I would look on the FAA’S page.

What's the number mean on the location sign? For example "R2" mean location on taxi way R, but how about the number 2.
I think the two means it’s a two way taxi way.
