MWC was very popular when it aired and got cult status basically immediatedly. But it never was "underrated", it started out as an instant-classic.

By getting caught up in winning a trip to Hawaii, he sacrificed good judgment by approving one bad loan after another after another and so on. The straw that broke the camel’s back was providing Al with a loan for $50,000 for a shoe hotline. Because of it, Steve lost his job and respect from Marcy. I have to admit, the slow descent to failure was incredibly clever. 976-SHOE is one of my favorite episodes of the series. Just one great line after another. “Steve, come home and service me. And God help you if you screw that up.”
Yes indeed the Las Vegas episode 2 parts has that. When he comes in and grunts at the kids and sits on the couch to watch the tv his shoes have the 555 clearly on them 😂
