Tiger Cruise (2004) and The Color of Friendship (2000) were both insane. we didn't have Disney Channel when I was a kid, but my sister is 10 years younger than me so I ended up with a guilty pleasure for a lot of the songs from these movies. Starstruck was not great but Something About the Sunshine and Hero were bangers.
Both of which deserve an independent video discussing the movies and where they’d be ranked because those are two of the deeeeeepest dcoms and two of my favorites.

It was released in 2000, so it is a bit old for us Gen Z folk. However, Disney aired it nearly every Friday night in February through the 2010's. It is no doubt Elite! I will never forgive Disney for Avalon High. Avalon High by Meg Cabot is one of my favorite books and is so good. I was super excited when I first heard they were adapting it, but they did the book dirty. In the name of “girl power”, they changed the roles around and completely altered the plot of the story. I’d love to hear your review of it, but I recommend reading the book first. It’s a quick read. They also came out with a continuing story in graphic novel format. 😊

Just so you know, in Frenemies, Jake and his dog had a fight because a popular mean girl was using Jake and his dog was the only one to see it. Eventually Jake dumped popular mean girl and ended up with the right girl. I just hope they do an interconnecting story DCOM again but with a better plot.
