Chelsea FC is no longer the club I followed from age of 6, I have been through all sorts with the club but Clearlake takeover has killed my love stone dead, far better off shutting the clubs doors forever and re opening under BlueCo's mantra of Chelsea Soccer Club as its not for me I will never pay money to watch spotty faced children imports play sub standard football and seeing Neil Bath forced out turning the academy almost into a seperate business from the main club, im done

You said it all in regards to the personnel that continue to leave the club. Imagine all the awkward conversations that they'd have to have with academy players families knowing there is no pathway to the team and each of those parents kids are seen ONLY as pure profit assets and not humans with ambitions and in need of development. Surprised it took this long for them to leave the club tbh.
Clownlake have missed all over their primary targets so far this summer. Operation Olise went as smooth as the US rescue op in Iran back in the 80s. Missed out on Olise, missed on Sesko, missed out on Calafiori. Not a good look.
This Mitoma interest is actually very surprising to me given his age. It's about time Chelsea were looking at players that move needles and Kaoru is a needle mover.
I do not considering him injury prone. He had 3 injuries last season which was uncharacteristic for him. He was focused on being ready for preseason with Brighton near the end of last season and was running with the team at the end of their campaign. He's had no record of any reoccurring injuries which is very positive.
If Chelsea do their work properly and confirm he's healthy, fit and nothing degenerative in his back - they should be absolutely all over this guy.
I've been watching Brighton play for years and subsequently watching Mitoma for years. He's one of my favourite players in football to watch. He will set up goals. I think he's better than Kvitcha from Napoli - has a dribbling PHD literally and I've watched him school some of the best defenders in football - there's a funny clip of him twisting Romeo Lavia into a knot 2 campaigns ago.
Mitoma's ability to get to the byline is unmatched IMO and once he's there he's a cutback magician.
His contract is up in 2027, he's on just over 4 million annual salary.
These are the sorts of players that Chelsea needs to get over the line and I'm very surprised in an excited way that the Clowns are on to him.
The other funny part of getting this player to Chelsea is Chelsea snatch another key player from Brighton. It's actually hilarious that the Clownlake Circus are obsessed with trolling Brighton. Bloom must wonder what he's done to attract the flies haha.
Mitoma's market valuation is about 40-45 million Euros. He'll have 3 more years on his deal which leads me to think Chelsea could get the player for under 50 upfront with a touch of addon's, perhaps 5-10 so a total package of < 55 million.
Of course I'm speculating and leaving negotiations in the hands of Winstanley can easily take a 50 million quid player and turn him into a hundred million quid player ha.
In regards to Drewsbury-Hall - I do like that move. I personally don't care that he excelled in the Championship. I look at his quality on the ball and work rate off it and he's very very good. The fact that he's 25 years old, soon to be 26, also is positive. Perhaps a lot of the pressure the Ultra's are putting on their kindergarten model is quietly "influencing" the Circus to expand ever so slightly in age. I'd like to think this anyways.
Certainly buying Keirnan is a step up from buying another teenager that just hit puberty.
Just an observation with the social media fans of Clownlake (fans of the owners, not fans of the club) - if I or anyone had suggested the team needed more quality in the midfield before they were linked to Keirnan, all of the wrongins would have called it a "crazy idea" "we have enough midfielders" etc etc.
Furthermore, if I or anyone else had proposed signing Keirnan from Leicester, the same wrongings would have responded in addition to the "we have enough players in the midfield already" with "Dewsbury-Hall are you nuts?" or "Dewsbury-Hall is a championship level player he's not our level". Yet, when the links were released and the transfer was confirmed, all the same wrongings who would have hated and berated the move were all on board with the Clownlake - lockstep. It's quite a fascinating syndrome that has infected a chunk of fans, albeit mostly the social media kids at least.
Chelsea certainly have quantity in defense and in the midfield, but it's a challenging argument to make that they have the quality in those positions - midfield, defenders and their goalie. Robert Sanchez reportedly is Enzo M's starting goalie? I call BS on that report even if Sanchez is named as Maresca's starter - given that he hasn't had any time with any of their goalies.

I've supported Chelsea for 40years,attended over a 1000 games and I don't recognise my club anymore.jonnie minerals is the best no doubt.
Yan is literally the nicest person in the Chelsea fan base on YT
. He's just different to the likes of Youness and Johnny because he doesn't have the energy to go on long rants all the time and so tries to see both sides of the argument as much as possible.
If you want box office content then the likes of Youness or Johnny is your guy. If you just want an easy listen while having a cup of coffee or just before going to sleep then Yan Is the one.
