Hey Everyone in This tutorial I am going to be showing you how to Reduce the size of an image without losing the quality of the photo! Its simple and easy! Hope this tutorial Helps you! - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I do this completely in the reverse, and there was a time that there were options to distort your high resolution image by reducing the size, and THEN reducing the DPI. The option used to exist in the transform options whether to render after expanding or not, but you actually have to do ALOT more than that. A little math here and there, and you gotta do it flawlessly, information will set in places you have no idea until you get down to the bare-bone filtering, such as in the Exclusion filter. Exclusion filter can retain information from other layers, and so does copying and pasting. They're very good about keeping their watermarkings for reading whether it is a manipulated image or not!
Also, you gotta appreciate the .jpg
Thanks mate ! no 10 mins of waffle, just straight to the point. Thanks again!
Thank you so much! This video was just what I needed. Kept the quality when I reduced it.
Thanks so much for this! I was having so much trouble trying to reduce a file without turning it into a giant pixel, but your video solved my problem in minutes! :-)
Thank you very much for this tutorial. I've been going nuts trying to reduce my images to email them. Your method works perfect. Again thanks.
I've been using Photoshop for years and years and have never played with (or even noticed) these settings before. Thanks for teaching me something new! :D
steelecrayon
are you alive now?
Have you printed this pic with good results? I noticed that the resolution in the pic is 72 and as long as you see it on a computer screen it will be ok but as soon as you print it it will look pixelated.
after do that when I go again image size option. I find it's changed to default And my image size not change?? :(
YOU SAVED ME FROM HAVING TO REDO MY ASSIGNMENT! THANK YOU!!!
When you are reducing an image, carry out the steps in the video but also make sure to increase the resolution. This will give you a smaller image but also maintain quality and ensure it doesn't become pixelated once downsized.
where you "increase the resolution" in the downsize steps?
Dan you are THE MAN! It works.
Thank you
exactly what i was thinking!
Legit just saved my logo!!! Thank you for posting this!!!
Great tutorial, works like a charm. Thanks for making it so easy.
Very helpful and easy to follow. Perfect. Thanks!
omg, I come across this issue every once in a while :D hopefully I remember this time lol. But I watched so many videos today..... but you saved me. Many Thanks
My pictures have these small triangles when I print them out. They are full size raw files. I print them on an 11X8.5 but I leave the border so I dont loose quality. Please help me
Hey Matthew, how are you doing? well, I've got a problem. I just can't change the scale from centimeters to inches. whenever I change it and click OK it goes back to centimeters back again. Thus, when reducing an image I'm getting my pixels all fuzzed out. Can't you help me fix that?
Tip for people trying to half their images. You can change from Pixels to Percent in the box where you choose units. If then you choose to have 50% it will mean that the image becomes the exact half of what it was.
i need to reduce a logo of around 50cm in size to around 4cm. how should it be done? this logo also contains some text ans all
BRILLIANT! A********* SIMPLE, QUICK AND EFFECTIVE! INSTEAD OF LONG, DRUELLING AND BORING. THANKS AGAIN!!
Thank you so much! This helped me A LOT
It worked!!! I freaking love you! Thanks!!!!
Please help me , am i missing something here. I am trying to make a duvet cover on a POD Site. I have a piece of art work that is around 15000 Pixels at 150dpi with roughly 144M. The requirements for the upload to use for their print is
Front: 4375 x 5160 or Higher / 150 dpi
Back: 4370 x 5150 or Higher / 150 dpi
Sleeve(Left/Right): 3000 x 1700 or Higher / 150 dpi . At 20M . I have tried to make the image 4375 Pixels but unless i reduce the image to 72 dpi its is impossible to make my image this large at only 20M. How on earth do i do this? I cannot work out how to keep the image size and reduce the M to only 20M. Is this even possible because the images are so small it impossible to use it for something like a duvet cover. How do they do this?
thank you :)
you saved my life with your tutorial
Awesome, Is it possible to do batch files this way ?
Nice outline, however I'm still not getting a clear sharp image when reducing an image to an Avatar size.
Hey did you find a solution for this? I tried everything it didn't give me perfect results
@@larakdesigns6227 Not in particular. It's been quite some time since I came across this video.
@@BuzWeaver the only "solution" I found was saving all images I needed as pngs (the ones I need without any background), make my collage in illustration and then save my image using ps... The problem is that there's a lot of back and forth and illustrator will crash at one point.
It did the trick for today but I can't go on like this forever.
Thought I'd share my trick in case you ever need it.
Thanks for getting back to me
@@larakdesigns6227 For quite some time I've been using .png for posting on social media. When I came across this video it was to help with Avatar images.

Also try option : Preserve details instead
