All of this the combination of the Spark Eternal with a droid so dangerous the Sith locked it up in the Fermata Cage. I wonder if Darth Momin was one of those Sith since he made the cage.
Ok, you lost me at "Han's right here in this unoccupied palace and the two of us are not strong enough to help him get out." Is that not exactly what the plan became later on? Except they made sure it would be occupied instead, and only Leia was going to help him escape?? I understand the plot and what's at stake here, but its just a dumb coincidence to set this up here. The Lando we see in ROTJ would have seen this as an opportunity to try for it, not to pass until next time.
