Absurd that you include Kalamaki and Tsilivi but not Alykanas/Alykes which are infinitely superior....and the shipwreck is a blot on the landscape, sharp shingle sloping very deeply (dreadful for kids) into diesel infused water with a lump of rusting metal as an "attraction". Granted the sea is a lovely colour from above, but the reality falls way short of any expectation up close. And you missed Xechoriatis, which is my personal favourite.
@@JoyOfTraveler I didn't watch, just read the list; seen all of the beaches on the island multiple times in the last twenty years, shipwreck is the only one I've visited just the once. Gerakas is amazing though so pleased you rate that highly, have a look at Xechoriati next time you visit.
Shipwreck beach is awesome to swim in, especially the small private beach to the left. Absolutely magical and unforgettable! I’m Greek and an avid traveler and I’ve been to countless amazing beaches than the good Lord. I beg to differ!
