I've seen another vlog about the Aman Hotel in NYC before seeing this one. But what you've shown here is quite more detailed. Each room appears to be different with similar details, and there's more common areas in the hotel that I've never seen before. I love how minimal, neat, and clean everything is with Japanese inspired themes through out. The Aman seems functional and exquisite at the same time. I love the feel of this hotel also. Thank you for sharing this with me.
thank you for beautiful video ! Very detailed! I wish them change their interior designer 😢 … Compare with Ed Tuttle style … this one look very play safe and actually no design, just a lot of furniture .. also why their go with Japanese modern look in New York .. I understand that its gonna be peaceful place to stay In crowded city ..but we are talking about Aman who always follow history of place where you staying..and always look Grand and informative
Wow! This now has to be my favorite hotel in NYC. I didn’t know they opened up one there. SO beautiful! My kind of design sense too. Throughout. Love the color palette they chose. The grays with accents of oranges. The room was amazing. Beautiful toilets too! Couldn’t believe the Spa Houses! Never seen that before. In my opinion this Aman Hotel is more beautiful than the one in Tokyo. I live in LA and I read recently how they will build one in Beverly Hills. Hopefully soon! Thank you so much for this well done video. I really liked how you didn’t talk. You let the beautiful visuals do the talking. Smart. Most don’t do that. I have subscribed now to your channel.
We would say the service is comparable to other five-star hotels in the city. There are still minor service issues, but these can be overlooked if you intend to spend most of your time outside the hotel. Certainly not at the same standard as other Aman properties, yet...
Very nice - thank you for sharing but does anyone think $4k a night is quite overpriced for what you get? Or is this a premium charge for its new building?
The best of the vid is your crazy-good filming, Wow. The hotel interior is rather dull and overly gray/black. Even the uniforms of the staff is little creative and again gray. Maybe they should rename the hotel in 'The Gray'?
Never understood what an "exclusive" hotel means. Exclusive means "hard to get in." A golf club like Augusta or Westchester may be exclusive, with years-long waiting lists, if you can get approved at all to get in. How is this hotel exclusive. Anyone with a credit card can book a night.
Exclusivity is undoubtedly a subjective concept. In our view, not allowing walk-ins as almost every other hotel in New York does, only allowing guest invitee entry via a limited guest list, and the AMAN social club membership that allows additional hotel benefits and amenities priced at 200K+ a year influenced our description here.
It was an opening rate and the year when luxury hotels inflating their price to the max after covid. It's as low as 1750 for summer now which is quite competitive. I mean MO in Greece also did a crazy opening rates like 3600 euros for next category of room with private pool. That would made Amanzoe seems like a bargain with a standalone pav and much fewer keys.
@@arfansahib602 And as long as people keep telling themselves that, in a feeble attempt to feel important, they will keep gouging people. Enjoy your time.
If you need to think about the cost then you really shouldn’t be staying here. The people who stay here don’t need to take the price into consideration.
I'd much rather go and splurge out at Macy's for that money, or go to a really good restaurant, or get myself a Ralph Lauren Purple Label coat. All which I cannot afford. ..... or go and splurge out at Trader Joe's, rather than spending all that money on temporarily staying in a super fancy interior, touch the tiles, what am I going to do, eat them? Nice for the eyes, soothing, relaxing...but not very practical. No kimchi....oh yeah! Forgot! There's roomservice!
Dubai is relatively safe for most people unlike New York. The UAE is a fabulous place to be let it shine. Beautiful hotels with gorgeous big bedrooms and amazing pools and the food it out of this world. Who wants to go to a dirty rat infested city when you can live in another world. It is a shame for you.
Nyc is not class Dubai is way safer lol don't even get Monaco in the picture they have no bums no homeless no nonsense NYC does it's best with the politicians it has that's all
The captions are nicely written. Thanks for this!
Absolutely love your videos! They are so soothing.

I've heard a lot of different feedback but the way he captured Aman New York makes me want to visit.
@@TylerBranco It really does. I agree with you.

I thought I was the only person not likening the interior 😆

Thank you for sharing this beautiful hotel.😊
Well done, that was beautiful!
Thank you Paul :)
How can a place in a crowded busy city seem so peaceful🤍 ☮️ Great details!
4k a night probably keeps the riffraff away🤣
Thank you
It's hard to beat the Amans at quality.
This is true.

Wonderful tour…thanks for sharing it ❤
Thank you!
Nicely done! I love all your videos.
Thank you MM
Just realised you're using an iPhone to shoot this! I'm impressed especially without a gimbal.
:) Thank you!
Great video. May I ask which platform you get your music from. It’s amazing. Especially the first tracks near the bathroom. Can you guide me?
I feel like they filmed movies here🎬📽️🎞️
*Looks great* 👍
thank you!
How's the service for the new hotel? Is it recommendable or better wait for a year or two for them sorting out minor issues
We would say the service is comparable to other five-star hotels in the city. There are still minor service issues, but these can be overlooked if you intend to spend most of your time outside the hotel. Certainly not at the same standard as other Aman properties, yet...
A July 27 NY Post article criticized this new Aman property at The Crown building.
Que sensación de bienestar... un hotel lleno de llamas trinas muy buena señal 🎉🎉🎉
Stunning ❤
Thank you! 🥰

I tried to watch other videos of this beautiful hotel but there was too much talking.
Loved your calming video of this luxurious hotel!
Very nice video! Thank you
What is the name of the music?
I would love to stay there.
Amazing…❤️
Thank you Ap Purna! Hope you are well. We miss you and miss Bhutan! 🇧🇹
Great video

It is not a new building, but an iconic one.
BEAUTIFUL

Next when visit Jakarta, do check The Hermitage Jakarta by Marriott. Luxury Boutique Hotel
Beautiful
Is the whole floor dedicated to one suite?
No, there are multiple suites per floor.
Is the restaurant open to the public?
Yes
Incredible
Thank you. 🙏
One day..😊
Curioso que el propietario del hotel y de la cadena de hoteles AMAN es ruso.
Thank you!!! 🎉 but the best quality is 360PPP??
Video is now available in 4K!
🌟🌟🌟
You did this entire video on your phone?
Correct. Shot on iPhone 14 pro.
@@Luxefarer I was thinking the same thing. Great work!
So beautiful, can't afford it though.
You used an iPhone only to shoot this? Very high resolution and very steady camerawork! Would love to know more about how to capture video like this.
yes, iPhone. steady hands.
3 toilets in the grand suite.. it's kind of overkill imo hahaha
Better to have more than less. Until the day comes and you really need a 4th toilet.
It’s a grand suite for a reason 3 toilets I would not mind if me and whole family are in this suite
Have you been to the Middle East? A class above everything else.
Yes. The region is blessed with fine hospitality and some of the world's best accommodations.
Wow! ❤🎉❤
thnx!
suggest can add variety to the video-taking method...(instead of just going top to down, it became a bit repetitive)

That's considered a grand fireplace in the lobby? I am not impressed especially for the price they are asking
I thought it must have went “zen art deco” ish. I was wrong.

太棒了 ! 令人嘆為觀止 !!!
Thank you!
No sound?
Sound should be available now. Video took longer to process than expected.
"Newly renovated crown building", pans to scaffold above entrance... only in NYC. 🤦♂
#Fantastic video. Absolutely #GnarlyDavidson
It's a little bit sad (and dark)
it's just like a normal luxury hotel in China
😂😂😂
The mural in the grand suite is beautiful. I find the room itself colorless and rather uninviting.
I feel that way about the whole hotel! It's slightly depressing to me.

So where's John Wick?
19:02 that does not look clean
도대체 하루밤에 2500불을 왜 내야만 하는거지요 ?
나머지 호텔도 아주 좋은 호텔이 많은데,,
😍
With all due respect, I can see nothing that remotely warrants 3500/night.
It was an opening rate and the year when luxury hotels inflating their price to the max after covid. It's as low as 1750 for summer now which is quite competitive.

I like that it's cost prohibitive. Keeps most people out. 🤣
If you need to think about the cost then you really shouldn’t be staying here. The people who stay here don’t need to take the price into consideration.
because people who can afford the rate feel more comfortable not being around people who can’t. simple.

Whats the point of all this
mmmm
Is their not a homeless shelter up the block 😂😂 ??
yeah lol
Looks as sterile as a museum, maybe serene but no aesthetic warmth.
