- In this video I enter Fearless Valley for the first time and get my first rides on the UK's tallest and fastest rollercoaster.
I take a look at the queuing system for the ride, the theming of the area, the merchandise in the Hyporium and give my verdicts on the latest, record setting, rollercoaster to come to the Thorpe Park resort.

44:30 - The trims where never installed, only the mounting brackets for them as a precaustion if the ride did overspeed. Probably a very good thing they weren't installed especially since it valleyed last weekend!

Good vlog. I've done front and back rows. Back row on the first drop is insane. On the front row, you are hanging, waiting to drop. Fave elements: the first drop, outer-banked airtime hill and the stall.
The whip is great on the back! Still waiting for my front row ride ☹️

I visited Thorpe Park just this weekend and Hyperia was amazing and i did all the big coasters once on the park as well as 3 rides on Hyperia and then i did Hyperia all day challenege where i didnt leave the area and i managed 11 rides in one day on Sunday the 7th of July so managed 14 rides in total across my 2 days that the park!
11 rides on a weekend on a one train service is pretty great! Glad you had an awesome time and that you enjoyed Hyperia, it’s an amazing ride 🤩🤩
@@_adventureplanet It was on 2 trains this weekend and the operations were so so quick, one train hitting the break run and the other been dispatched

The merchandise looks great, i managed to order the Hyperia embroided hoody from the online store before they sold out and i love it! I may have to pick up a Hyperia T-shirt when i visit the park in July along with some Hyperia socks ans maybe that cap too!
There’s some good stuff in there for sure. Was going to pick up the grey T with the logo but unfortunately they only had XL sizes in stock ☹️
@@_adventureplanet I really like the look of the grey one with the ride layout along the bottom and the embroided Hyperia logo but it is the larger baggy t-shirt design so would be too big for me so hoping they have a small in that grey Hyperia logo t-shirt when i go. I hope you are able to get one in your size soon!
Great video Angel, I absolutely love Hyperia. It’s my new UK no1 coaster and I love how you get nearly 15 seconds worth of airtime. I went on the Reopening Day and I experienced it twice
It’s an absolute gem for the UK, just like Nemesis was in 1994! Really pleased for Thorpe Park and I’m glad you enjoyed your rides.

Been waiting for this too! Excellent review Angel! I was at the park yesterday and saw you filming. Felt very lucky to get a front-seat ride on my 2nd ride, the 90-minute predicted main queue took only 77 minutes, and the train dispatches felt super quick! There was a train going up the lift hill every few minutes. Front row was incredible, especially as you're whipped down into that first drop! It was great watching people's reactions, as they ended the ride in the front row! I hope they get the ride sorted after seeing what happened today, still can't believe I got to ride Hyperia twice... definitely my no. 1 UK coaster, completely blew me away!

My favourite vlog yet! Hyperia looks insane and i am so glad you got to ride this coaster yesterday as it has been down today but it is important that we support the park with this as these things happen and Mack Rides are constantley learning with this coaster with it been their tallest Hyper coaster to manufacture! I cannot wait to experience this coaster during my visit in July in just 17 days time!

Just catching up with my vlog viewing.....whoops nearly missed this one😮 Great that you got to ride Hyperia....with the huge experience you have of world wide coasters you gave high praise indeed! Have an ERS booked on a club trip 6th July fingers crossed it will actually be open that day!!!!! Will l find my fearless???? If l do l may have a commemorative tattoo done, how about the Hyperia wings with "Fearless Found" underneath 😊
It’s definitely a coaster worthy of plenty of praise 😊 I just hope the worst of the reliability issues are behind us now.
I hope you get to experience it on the 6th July and I think that’s a pretty epic tattoo idea!

Some people dont like the show but i think it looks really cool and i cannot wait to see it in person when i visit, the sound choice just adds to the atmosphere of this insanly tall ride!
I think it’s missing some of the Pyro from the opening ceremony but otherwise I thought it was quite good 😊 Nice little stage set up too!

There are better worldwide coasters, of that there is no doubt, Hyperia doesn’t scratch my top 10. However, for the UK it’s incredible, and I’ll stick by what I say that it has the best stall anywhere 👍🏻

I have ridden Hyperia twice so far. One on row 8 and the other on row 7. The ride experience is very different than other rides in the country favouring drawn out airtime/hangtime rather than rip your face off intensity. I may prefer nemesis but I'll visit towers for the first time at the end of the month.

Bit odd I managed to ride Voltron before hyperia as i live about 30 mins from TP. Heading there next week, cannot wait for Hyperia.

I dont understand why they put a trim brake in instead of creating a bigger air time hill or even a couple of them.
Lets hope this kicks off a good roller coaster boom in the UK, we are so far behind the rest of the world its unreal! Who is going to be first to get a 200ft+ RMC thats what i want to know!
That’s what I’m waiting for too! 3 years ago I would have said Thorpe, but not so sure now. Alton and Chessington are height restricted so would be difficult. Drayton is now family, Oakwood is certainly not in a financial position to do much. Maybe Flamingo Land? Unless you believe the rumours swirling about Paultons Park 😅

I rode Hyperia for the first time a few weeks ago and there were my thoughts:
1. Theming/style - I know a lot of people are commenting and seem to be disappointed in the lack of theming however for me, I love the look of the ride and what they have done with it. Sometimes theming can make a ride look cheap and tacky and this ride is FAR from it! This ride deserves a classy look and I feel they have achieved that. The colours are sleek and modern, the station looks classy, it’s a beautiful look for a beautiful coaster and I approve of the styling they have done. My only gripes were that they had switched the water feature off so I’m hoping it wasn’t a case of leaving it on the first few weeks until the photos and reviews are out then switch it off and keep it as a rusty hole! I also found there were not many places to get any decent photos as everywhere in the queue has the fence around so for me to get a semi decent photo I had to wedge my phone camera between the bars! I do think there should be more view points of the coaster like Icon does. I love to watch the roller coasters go past and there just didn’t seem to be anywhere seating or viewing areas around.
2. Operations - amazing operations by the staff from what I could see, big props to the staff there as they were all professional and knew what was going on at all times and were keeping everyone moving to get the trains out as quickly as possible. We had a couple behind us on the single rider queue that said they hadn’t realised it was for single riders and were quite upset at the thought of having to go separately. They were given the choice of staying and potentially going separately or starting again in the main queue. They sorted the issue quickly so it didn’t stop the train running and managed to get them to make a decision and it was just all very professional and run perfectly. I really can’t speak highly enough about the staff they were spot on! Trains were zooming out every few minutes which is nice to see as some places the trains are held back quite a lot! I notice wickerman regularly has delays in the trains popping out of the station not too sure what the issues are with that one but it always seems to be slow getting them out even on three running trains!
3. The ride - I think we can all agree the ride itself is pretty amazing! Yes it’s a little short, we would all want it to be longer I’m sure but the ride you do get packs a punch! I only got to experience 9th and 10th rows and have to say the very back was brilliant, punchy and just nippy! The seats are perfection! I love love those types of seats I could have one in my lounge!! Very much a similar style to icon and many ways but also a different ride altogether. I would have loved a launch pad somewhere halfway maybe like icon does as that for me adds a bit more excitement but it’s not a criticism at all just me being weird as icon is in my top three! That zero g stall is for me the best part of the ride, hanging in the air upside down looking down at the queue line is pretty awesome!
My only major disappointment in Hyperia is that it’s in Thorpe Park which for me is not my favourite park. The park feels a bit soulless and concrete and quite a lot of the staff when you ask them questions don’t know much (that is if you can ever find any staff round the park!) TP is just lacking something magical and special, it feels very bland and doesn’t feel like it’s run efficiently, there seems to just be general lack of staff. I’m an AT fan though so I’m always biased. TP is a slightly longer drive from mine that AT Is so if TP was in my doorstep I’d be there quite often for Hyperia!

The theming / style does suit the ride, I think what they have works, I just wished it had been finished off better as the landscaping around was still in a bit of a state. It’s true that it’s difficult to get decent pictures of the ride, even out of the queue line in Fearless Valley it’s not easy, a shame really as it’s a stunning looking ride.
I’ve had many rides on it now and I’m still yet to experience poor operations. It obviously had its issues in the beginning, but when it’s running, the dispatches are super quick and staff super efficient which is great to see.
Alton Towers certainly has Thorpe Park beat when it comes to the views and the scenery, it’s a beautiful park! Can’t wait to head back soon for Oktoberfest and Scarefest!
