She is incorrect when she said they left us no writing. They did leave writing in the Meroitic script, but it has not been deciphered. It doesn't seem like they did enough research on the subject of Nubia, otherwise they would've known about the Nubian writings.

@Ooki Cooki The nubians weren't one thing came in many different ethnicities. For example, their were the medjay who actually had close ties with Kemet. Your're probably also going to mention the wall of Ramesses ii killing nubians. But when you look at the nubians on that wall. Alot of them had the same color shade as Ramesses ii. Theirs also another wall showing Ramesses killing people from the middle east, but they never show that. There are also numerous sightings of paintings depicting Egyptians being dark brown with Afro hair. There are also archeological sightings of some Egyptians having dreadlocks.

White people are crazy for real because the lady narrator is separating black people in Ta-nehisi from black people in Ta-merry and making them into two peoples when we know these people are all black. Besides, Ta-SETI was built first and then Kemet second. I will not use the name Nubia or Egypt because these are white people interpretations of black people nations and cultures. Moreover, black people never called themselves Pharaohs, or there nations Nubia or Egypt. KEMET, the last culmination of black civilizations, But not before Ta-nehisi and never separated because they are one people. Did we sometimes fight against each other, sure we did. Haven't white nations of people fought against each other, sure they have but they are still one race of white people,

I honestly think that Idris elba would have nail the role as King Piye, a movie about his story based in the 8th century BCE would be epic, don't you think? After all, we have all of his documents in his victory stela and we know that he loves horses, But who should play Tefnakht? oh, we still haven't decipher the Meriotic Script so we do not know the full details about Queen Amanirenas and her battles, If the movie would be 3 hours long then I would absolutely watch it. He made a 2016 film about roots but cannot make a film about this epic event in history of a war that lasted for five years, something is very fishy here don't you think? This was also not the first announcement about an African epic was supposed to come out in cinemas, in 2009 they also announced that a film about Taharqa and his war with the Assyrians starring Will Smith as Taharqa would also come out in 2012, it didn't went through, yet the 12 years of slave did, this is completely mentality sick of what Hollywood is literally doing, there needs to be change, there is Tyler Perry who owns a film studio where many films were filmed there such as the Black Panther which was a massive success in the box office with the estimate of almost 1.4 billion in the box office, maybe a movie director who is a person of colour could go to Tyler Perry studios and filmed this epic's such as Amanirenas, Piankhi and Taharqa or Ezana, pretty sure that if the Black Panther which was based on a mythological place in Eastern Africa I'm pretty sure that a movie about these 4 individuals would have much success as the Black Panther did, am literally crossing my fingers for the future now, hopefully things will change.

There is a Meroetic script known as Ge’ez. They did have a system of writing, which they showed on the rocks right before she said they didn’t have writing. They were hieroglyphs that I believe predated Egypt’s. There is just know Rosetta Stone like discovery that archeologists can use to decipher the language. There is already so much misinformation on African history, I wish museums and universities would make sure to present all the information accurately. But I love the exhibit.

But it is said to be distantly related to Sabaean, which is a language brought to Abyssinia (ancient Ethiopia) from Arabia around the 5th century BC. @@brianatippens3010 I think you have the issue confused. Also note a worldwide calamity in 536 AD th-cam.com/video/cKUz5Vjq9-s/w-d-xo.html
So nearly ever civilization collapsed and was replaced by new ones. Since there is very little evidence, likely destroyed in this process, we can make no claim of the legitimacy or illegitimacy of any claims of "literacy" throughout Africa. Other parts of the world have writing and evidence for literacy. And absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. All we can say is we have no evidence of ancient literacy in "Africa" distinguishing this from the Mediterranean cultures and the East African-Arab trade connection as culturally separate and distinguishable from the rest of Africa. And when I say ancient, I mean ancient not as many Afro-Centrist use it to refer to the 15th to 17th centuries AD. And we also can say when Europeans as well as Indians, Arabs, and Chinese ventured into much of Africa, at that time, there was no writing, literature, or evidence of literacy.

The micro aggression in this video is appalling. I don't believe it is intentional, but white scholars have great difficulty with the skin color of African kings and queens who ruled Kemet. These are Nile Valley civilizations that follow the path of human migration and culture out of the Great Rift Valley. This spans a region from northern Tanzania in the south to eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (central Africa) through Uganda, Kenya, NW Somalia, most of Ethiopia, southern Sudan, and Eritrea. King Namar is said to be the first dynastic ruler, and he is clearly a melanated African (circa 3100 bce).

Nubians were Black africans

    • @brotheramfri
      @brotheramfri ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@vansan2120
I think I'll call this "14 Ways to Serve and Eat Jim Crow".
      1. Melanin is not a subjective but scientifically objective test. Therefore, we are not addressing "what King Narmer looked like''. In 2005, Germans tested the skin of 1st Dynasty mummies for "rehydration" and noted that the skin cells were "highly packed with melanin" (I believe it is on page 4 of the study.) This confirms Dr Chiek Anta Diop's 1958 study on the subject.
      2. The bust of Narmer, like the palette, is a PRIMARY SOURCE ARTIFACT. If the palette is valid, the bust is also valid.
      3. How many European Kings and Queens had statues made of them with African features... full lips, broad nose, and tightly curled hair as expressed in the bust of Narmer? To attempt to invalidate a primary source bust because it doesn't agree with Eurocentric biases is racist and silly.
      4. Africans, i.e. Nubians have a wide variety of facial features. For instance, nose width and length, the world over, is directly linked to altitude and humidity, not high melanin content (dark skin tones), low melanin content (light skin tones), or no melanin (albinism or white skin tones). Eye colors of blue and green, are directly linked, respectively to low and no melanin content. Red and blond hair are also directly linked, respectively, to this same genetic variation.
      5. Sub-Saharan Africans have the highest rate of genetic diversity than any other demographic on earth.
      6. Highly melanated people can have albino children. Low melanin and albino people who breed with each other, CANNOT PRODUCE HIGHER MELANATED OFFSPRING unless they carry the recessive gene for such within the last four generations. See South African genetic studies.
      7. Sickle cell anemia is a uniquely Sub-Saharan African trait evolved to protect against malaria. The United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) world sickle cell maps indicate that Europeans, especially those of the Mediterranean region have the same propensity for sickle cell anemia as African Americans.
      8. The Kemetic hieroglyphs of the bee and sphinx are in almost all, if not all, Nubian King & Queen names. See Sir Wallace Budge's DICTIONARY OF EGYPTIAN HIEROGLYPHS VOLUMES 1 & 2, circa 1906 ce.
      9. Narmer is listed in Budges text, page 917, as a pre-dynastic king. The FIRST 12 DYNASTY 1 KINGS have the bee in their cartouche. King Piankhi, the 357 dynastic King of Kemet, page 939, is listed as the first Nubian conquerors, and his entire dynastic line has the bee along with the title "Meri-Amen" in their cartouches. Clearly the bee is linked to Nubia.
      10. Alexander the Macedonian, the name he chose to describe himself, not "the Greek", adopted the title MERI-AMEN SETEP RA ARKSANTRS as his OFFICIAL PHARAONIC NAME. He uses the bee in his cartouche, page 942.
      11. ALL GREEK AND ROMAN EMPERORS from Alexander in 332 bce to Decius 251 ce, FOR a period of 581 YEARS, USED KEMETIC PHARAONIC NAMES!
      12. Many of the Nubian artifacts were found in Aswan, Egypt before it was flooded to build the Egyptian dam and hide further evidence of Nubian Egypt. This intentional destruction of Nubian African cities to build dams is the same technique American racists used to destroy evidence of freed African American cities and towns through the North and South United States.
      13. Kerma is in Nubia, not in Egypt as this MFA video states.
      14. Reisner, whom the European curator of the Nubian exhibit praises, was a known racist who stated, "The artifacts found in Nubia where of too high quality to be of Black African, i.e. Nubian origin." How racist and stupid can this be?
So, melanin, a scientific measurable; names and hieroglyphs associated with Nubia from the first Dynasty to the last; 3351 years of documented Kemetic Kings & Queens names and cartouches; melanin genetic studies; sickle cell maps; works of noted, admittedly racist, European scholars; and, knowledge of basic geography all indicate that NUBIA WAS EGYPT AND EGYPT WAS NUBIAN!
I've presented 14 points of objective evidence with sources from notable European scholars. So you cannot cry that this is "Afrocentric revisionism".
I still haven't mentioned Roman Catholic church documents, the works of European Kings and Queens, Sir Higgins, Dr Leo Weiner, Dr W.E.B. Dubois, nuclear physicist and polyglot Dr Cheik Anta Diop, noted linguist Dr. Theophile Obenga, Dr Ivan Van Sertima, Dr Josef Ben Joachannan, Dr John Henrik Clark, Chancellor Williams, Dr Asa Hilliard, the Timbuktu Papers (300,000), ancient Arabic scholars, and a host of other sources that support my claim.
It behooves us all to realize that the Jim Crow, racial biases in academia are dead... no matter who teaches or believes them. TRUTH ALWAYS WINS.

@@brotheramfri you honestly caused me a really good laugh, thank you for that. I believe you should start reading scientific books or papers and not afrocentric pseudoscience:
      1 Melanin is not synonym of black african;
2 Narmer bust being real is pure speculation, not evidence in academic world,
3 again, not evidence that it's Narmer. Anyway it does resemble a black african, which is well known that black africans were habitating in upper Egyptian
4 Caucasians also have a wide variety in facial features, and what? Also, Caucasians can have dark skin too, and that must cause a lot confusion in your head. Are indians black to you?
5 yes, a big diversity of DNA among black Africans, and what? Do you use white European DNA researches, without even understanding what it means?
6 you are very confused individual... Again, melanated it's not synonym of black African. Middle easterns, indians, native Americans, north africans are not black Africans.
7 you're associating Europeans with African Americans, and again you're not helping your argument
8 Yes Nubians absorbed a lot of Egyptian culture, it's very well known and documented. Some might say they were cheap copycats
9 that is one of your problems, you keep mixing Nubians with Egyptians, as if they're all the same thing. Nubians might even be an older civilization but you need to face reality: it never achieved the status and importance of Egypt.
10 so you're argument now is that Alexander was black too?
11 so all Greeks and Romans were black too?
12 white Europeans were the ones who found the nubian artifacts and white Europeans were the ones who pulled off perhaps the largest and most impressive archaeological rescue operation
13 it was part of Egypt, forgot that Nubia was Egyptian colony for many centuries?
14 a logical assumption, if you consider the whole continent of Africa and the buildings constructed by black people.
You need to establish facts, before making conclusions. You're feelings are irrelevant, and you didn't present one single objective evidence. Basically you are the typical afrocentric: you made your conclusion already, now you just need to adapt the "facts" to the narrative and cherry pick what is convenient and completely ignore what is inconvenient.
Truth always wins, but you're wishful thinking is not the truth

If they created Kemet then they need to show and prove where they came from and what they brought with them (animals, plants, culture, etc.) In America and other places that they have stolen, they can connect themselves to where they came from so let them do it with Kemet.

I guess a mistake by the video editing team no seeing that was a Persian era Egyptian in the high-waisted Persian attire? Well, she also discounts Meroitic script as a written, mostly undeciphered, written record. She wished they had writing? Well, at some point they did. The primary reason they used Mdw Ntchr is that it was a shared script. Diodorus Siculus plainly stated Egyptian hieroglyphs were "Ethiopian writing" and Nubians WERE those ancient era Ethiopians. So, I guess there are bigger problems than just a video edit's out of scope comparison. (He was Persian.)

I am Nubian, but I would like to say that the Nubians are spread in more than one country and they speak the great Nubian language. For example, we have Nuba in Egypt, Sudan, Kenya and others. They are Hamitic peoples. The Dongola, Al-Kunuz, and Al-Mahswa are also in southern Sudan, like the people of the Nuba Mountains, they are Nubians, but they migrated to the south as well. We have Nuba living in Kenya. These were used by the British colonialists to protect their interests in Kenya 200 years ago, due to the British knowledge of the valor of the Nubians in fighting and battles, their courage and their knowledge of the arts of war And the fighting, also as we do not forget that the Beja are Kushites, they are the archers who were invading the Nubian kingdoms. These are all belonging to Kush, the son of Ham, the son of Adam, the grandfather of Africans and Negroes. In Sudan, we have more than 250 pyramids, and we have the sacred Jebel Barkal temple. This temple is considered the first temple in the world for the ancient man before the revelation of the heavenly religions.

    Eyewitness to ancient egyptian phenotype:
Herodotus: The ancient Greek historian who lived in the 5th century BCE described the ancient Egyptians as having black skin and woolly hair in his work "Histories."
Strabo: The ancient Greek geographer and historian who lived in the 1st century BCE described the Ethiopians (a term that could refer to people from various parts of Africa) as having black skin and woolly hair, and noted that some people considered the Egyptians to be of the same race.
Diodorus Siculus: The ancient Greek historian who lived in the 1st century BCE described the Ethiopians as having dark skin and curly hair, and noted that some people considered the Egyptians to be of the same race.
Plutarch: The ancient Greek philosopher and historian who lived in the 1st and 2nd centuries CE wrote that the Egyptians were "black with heat" due to the climate of their homeland.
Al-Masudi: The 10th-century Arab historian and geographer described the ancient Egyptians as "a black people, different-looking and woolly-haired."
Jean-Francois Champollion: The 19th-century French scholar who deciphered the hieroglyphs of ancient Egypt noted that some ancient Egyptians depicted themselves with darker skin tones than those of their neighbors.
Herodotus: "Histories," Book II, Chapter 22. Available online: classics.mit.edu/Herodotus/history.2.ii.html

Herodotus: The description of the Egyptians as having "black skin and woolly hair" can be found in Book II, Chapter 22, which begins with the sentence "For my part I hold that the Colchians, the Egyptians, and the Ethiopians..."
Al-Masudi: The passage describing the Egyptians as "the darkest of all humans" can be found in Volume 1, Chapter 3, on page 52 of the edition I consulted.
Jean-Francois Champollion: In his "Lettre à M. Dacier relative à l'alphabet des hiéroglyphes phonétiques," Champollion does not use the term "black" to describe the ancient Egyptians. Rather, he argues that they were of African origin, based on linguistic and cultural evidence. The full text can be found at the link I provided earlier.
I guess al Masudi, Strabo, aristotle diodorus sicilus and plutarch are not credible too huh? What about the man who deciphered the hieroglyphs himself calling them negro africans, Jean Francois champollignon? You Euro-centrist are absolutely delusional.

First time I saw pics online my immediate thoughts were that everything was remarkably similar to artifacts found in Egypt in the valley of the kings. I'm not sure what they are telling us about a lack of written communication in this video because the same symbolic communication is all over the artifacts from Sudan. In fact there are some photos depicting what appear to be an expanded version of the Egyptian symbolic system.

When George Reisner first excavated the site all of the statues he found were exactly like Egyptian, so he assumed it was an Egyptian outpost. The fact that Nubian pottery was there does not negate the initial assumption. There is no reason to believe that the makers of the pottery were the same as the makers of the statues, or the buildings. Egypt was at war with them for several centuries with the Nubians defeating the Egyptians during the third intermediate period, before themselves being defeated.

This separation between Nubia and Egypt is white ethnocentrism. The Movie Great Pyramid K 2019 by Director Fehmi Krasniqi sheds light on this link between Nubia and the growth of technologically advanced Egypt otherwise known as KEMET - not just the black land with black fertile soil but inhabited by black Negroids, an ethnic group of indigenous people. Human history needs to be re-examined, and re-written, to expose Absolute Truths. For example, the Olmec statutes in South America, resemble black African features. In addition, there are no ALIENS as promoted by White Conspiracy Theorists that built the Pyramids in Egypt. It was black Negroids, from Nubia that made Egyptian civilization, and spread their technology to Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, Easter Island, Cambodia, India etc. Great work GBH! You have started the conversation. Praise the Lord!

It all was Nubia but a civil war divided them and the ones that wanted the watchers from the sky to be their God took over the northern part of Nubia which is called Egypt now. The pyramids were already there so they kept them as is but the sphinx took on a new face twice to show an egyptian king instead of the Nubian king. Civilization started in Nubia. Many people traveled to it to marvel at what these people built and created. They returned home to try to copy what they seen. Some brought Nubians to help them while others tried to do it on their own. All over the world there are artifacts of Nubia and nubian designs. Historians have lied for so long about them cause of their distaste of blacks that the truth is buried in all those lies. They hate to tell people that Nubia was the place that people from other regions called Atlantis or Atanis which means home in Nubian culture back then. These foreigners destroyed most of the Nubian language only keeping a few that they could use. The Nubians had a system of what they called social values in which people acted social to each other. They had many laws or rules to help people follow the social values system. If that sound familiar that is cause the religious groups of today stole those values and renamed it moral values or Christian values. Some believe the Catholic church has the original guidebook of the Nubians hidden in a secret library. People are using the knowledge of the Nubians to control people instead of helping them. Hopefully one day the truth will come out and people will see how evil these groups really are.

Ancient Egyptians are black African, not Arabs or Europeans, but Nubians, and the fact that people would claim anything other than that is just absurd, to say the least. People don't even know that Greeks where students of ancient kemet, which is the real name of Egypt as the word Egypt is a Greek word, not an African one. Just like Ethiopian was a Greek word, so it's crazy to me that we still use words that foreign people call us to name our nations and people as if that's something we actually call ourselves. Egyptian means home of slaves and Ethiopian means burned face, so that doesn't sound like something we would call ourselves or want to call ourselves, yet look where we are today because of ignorance.

KEMET (ancient Egypt) was an offshoot of ancient Nubia. They were the same people. They shared the same culture before Egypt was overrun by foreign invaders. The Nubian script predates hieroglyphics. But you are wrong about African societies being illiterate before KEMET. There were other ideographic scripts like nsibidi in West Africa and rudimentary evidence of Southern African scripts. Unfortunately, colonialists actively scoured through Africa and actively destroyed much of ancient African history and archeological evidence in their quest to convince their populations that Africans were sub-human and thus were not fit to be accorded human dignity. Your attitude of casting doubt is a result of that conditioning. And by the way, the word "sub-Saharan" is racist. It was created by Europeans to separate the native continental Africans from the regions occupied by Northern invaders. The Sahara desert has never been a barrier to Africans. Africans lived and moved freely throughout the continent before the creation of borders by Europeans. Amazingly, all invaders from Europe, India, China, and Arabia could somehow traverse Africa across the Sahara, a territory they were not familiar with, but the local people who have lived there from the beginning of time were "sub-Saharan". How ridiculous is that?
