    Cool cost effective setup; you show us that you don’t need the most expensive stuff to adventure off grid👍🏼

    Considering these cars get bad rep but see so many people on TH-cam own one esp for overloading and I can see why they own them, these vehicles have so many accessories/mods and the amount of space you still have is unbelievable. Overlanding in luxury with these land rovers I watch a channel called LR time great channel for you guys for tips and tricks

    Nice man.
    I particularly like how you got power up on your roof.
    Also if you end up doing the tailgate lighting like get the amber lights and put them on a dimmable dial makes mood lighting great when camping.

    Great video Shdz...just wondering what model is the ARB air compressor and the make and model of that flat tool kit you showed us? cheers

    Nice setup. I have the exact the same D4, very similar setup (battery, wheels (although I run muddies on my 18”), apt gear et)
    Hope you’re keeping up with the engine maintenance on that 3.0l engine…also you are missing the engine cover.
    If you’re doing any rougher, or even rutted tracks, llams height controller is pretty neat kit…but depends on needs.
    Enjoy the D4.

      Check out my breakdown video to find out why I removed the engine cover…

    I made 40x30 aluminium tube crossbars bolted into the roof rails to mount my RTT sits nice and low and passed the test on Fraser.

    love your set up brother. Just the roof rack bro, I'm not entirely sure about the weight loading. The Drifta RTT is quite heavy as is so just watch it mate. I run the frontrunner rack platform and it has been rock solid.

      @outbackshadz3809  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks brother. Ive since switched out those flimsy racks for 3 Rhino heavy duty bars and feels much more solid. That Drifta is the lightest hardshell on the market its only about 65kgs.

      @@outbackshadz3809 great to know that you've switched to a heavy duty platform mate. Didn't know that the drift RTT is only 65kg. I'm running a frontrunner soft-shell at this stage and am looking at a sub 60kg-ish hard shell. ARB Esperence is on my radar now. How is the Drifta RTT going for you?

    Hey buddy. Sweet build. Any chance of a link to winch install components and air compressor? Would love to do to my D4.

      Winch bracket was from mudtech 4x4 in Italy and the compressor is from ARB. I just used existing captive nuts and mounted the compressor to plywood

    Bit late to the party here, but nice looking job on the car. One question on the simplicity theme, and its one I am pondering now with a drawer setup in the back, but how do you access yr spare wheel winch?

    • @outbackshadz3809
      @outbackshadz3809  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is an adapter you can buy that converts it so you can have an extension socket that connects to a ratchet. Ive cut out a slot in my drawer to I can access the socket
