Tab target or not, they listened to feedback and got rid of the two biggest concerns in stagnant combat and auto play. I am still going to be tempering my expectations but it definitely earns some good will and makes me want to try it! Also, for once a beta actually resulted in changes instead of just marketing? Credit where it is due.
Super random comment, probably, but I’m not looking to go back to FFXIV. I played it, got multiple jobs to max level, and never felt like it was good enough. Played GW2 first, which probably contributed to my opinion, but I don’t like FFXIV’s choreographed combat. Memorizing 10-minute savage fights is not fun for me. I’d rather learn mechanics and handle them as they come, which feels much more authentic.
I think hybrid tab targed with some movement the best for MMO-s because imagine you casting a huge strong spell which is theoretically need more concentration so it makes sense when while you cant move. Tera messed up the original pure concept about MMO-s theese days all kids want to play every game like a Fortnite or CS:GO...
And also is it to stupid when you can only shoot the skills straight for the mobs like a shots. Guys this is MMO with wizards in fantasy world we need to do some magic which can follow the oppenent movement. Except bowmans.
That is not about devs lack of talent. It is just a original MMO experience. Of course they able to make full action combat shooter MMO but they dont want. I think it is smart decision from them.
I think it will be better if devs work more and release the global launch later like march or something and also they can bring us more content from the start. Fix some bugs etc. I have an advice when they release the global version they need to downgrade the korean version to ours for global experience like how they advertised the game before. It can fix the delay.
if they release this game after january, there's no reason to call it a "new game" anymore, so much that i think that it's dumb to release it after KR, even more, anything later than january i think i will just go back to BDO and not touch this game ever. I think that the biggest urge to play a new mmo is the discovery factor, if KR release it first than we all will watch korean streamers and know what to do, that is such a dumb decision for a company to do. Take Lost Ark as an exemple, everyone knew what to do and how to progress fast and efficiently, so much that the majority of the playerbase devoured all the content in 1 to 2 months after release and they are planning on doing it with tl, i just dont understand
I'm tired of waiting for this game and I certainly won't wait another 4 months. There are many new and cool games coming and I think it's not worth the wait
Is it a global release if it has already been released in Korea? Typically global release means released at the same time across the globe, at least to my understanding.
I would say there's probably a slight distinction between a simultaneous release and a global release. Probably the term being used. But unless we're getting pushed along we'll always be behind Korea at this rate.
Fix you’re funny every game that’s come out in the eastern side of the world and came to the west. It came here and got worse but I will give you the benefit of the doubt you look hype for this game, so I’ll be nice
The cool thing about an mmorpg is the feeling of newness, discovery and exploration. I don't want to play this shit after the Koreans have already explored everything and TH-cam is flooded with builds and tutorials. I want this game to be fucked if I can't play the Korean version.
*Korean Games is like Plastic Surgery.* *Beautiful on the outside, empty and boring on the inside.* *If you played 1 Korean MMORPG, you basically played ALL of them.* *Do not waste your time or your money - again.*
Would rather say that for Western MMos... The combat is always so boring/clunky, maybe there is more late game different activities, yes, but if the combat is boring and has 0 feeling, I just can't spend time on it. Yet if the combat is awesome, I can spend hours doing the same thing, like in BDO for instance. The biggest issue in Asian games is that... The p2w totally ruins the experience, the only reason I stopped BDO is because it became p2w 1 year after release... The asian MMOs are just a blast when it comes to gameplay, then it's true it's usually a bit empty in other areas. Let's say Lost ark (the exception) wouldn't have this retarded launch in global, with content coming out way too fast, 3 tiers at launch and a ridiculous p2w, it would have dominate the MMO market (just look at the numbers d1), people just got pissed off these issues and I'm not even talking about the bots...
since ''Premium '' is not ''Premium only'' anymore for the use in a community driven market, this game will revolutionize global monetization for all upcoming f2p games (in a good way)

It's action combat as officially advertised so ignore what the others say
I don't know how many people are willing to play tab target in 2024 tbh.

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yeah I know that you’re not alone in that feeling. I too wish FFXIV studied GW2 more
Guild Wars 2 combat is not good. Where Guild Wars 2 excel is in having large scale battles.

They talked about battle passes and currency trading but they never answered if it was going to be buy to play or free to play.
It’s free to play
Thank you for your content :)
Thank you for this wonderful comment
Is it just for pc
Nope, coming to consoles too
it will never ever release in the second quarter of 2024, it will release februar-march 2024

lol
I was excited for this game, until I played it. To each their own, but it was hot dookie. Hope the enjoyers of it end up having fun though.
What didn't you like? I also was super hyped but I played for a few minutes and idk the camera view was kinda whacked...
There are things I don’t like about GW2 combat, but it’s WAY better than FFXIVDDR.

I recommend BDO for an action mmorpg.
Pay to win and I play it

That’s a possibility but not every single game has gotten worse, plus that would also fall under the definition of what do you mean by gotten worse???
Do a guide for play in korea
Will do!

Well if you’re a smart person you won’t play this game but then you would be full of 💩.
You want this game to fucked if you can’t play as soon as Korea? What a childish thing to say

um no. korean mmos are the best mmos to play lol

Premium only marketplace is going to kill this game so fast.

@@abdelrahmanradstop spreading nonsense. This style of cash shop is not new and it will be massively P2W
