I have noticed a distinct chatter on the 915’s gearbox at low RPM’s. But man does it sound good and quiet just above that! You’ve got the best piston engine in GA right there.
The oil reservoir has the dipstick in the middle so tilting the engine should not affect the reading. To be certain they can check the oil with the engine level, and make a new reference with it on the tail wheel.

Hi did the engine feel smooth and vibration free on the air frame

What is that you’re monitoring on your laptop? Is that BUDS?
He's plugged in to the back of the EMU. He has a program that pulls additional engine data from it. I'm not sure what that program is.
