Good luck drifting. The game's physics don't work very well for the game, and the method of drifting is a pain in the ass, especially since you don't get rewarded for drifting well.
I actually REALLY like the astetics, I prefer the more low poly look for Mario Kart and the pointed font that they used to have, this game looks more like "Mario Kart" than Mario Kart 8 to be honest. Can't say I like the music though.

I really hope the Tank powerup eventually makes it into a console Mario Kart game, that's such a unique idea IMO. For those unaware, this game includes a powerup which transforms your kart into a 2-person tank, where you drive and the person playing next to you acts as the gunner with an infinite supply of green shells
Guys you should stop judging pacman's voice. To me it sounds like his voice actor had good time playing pacman even though the voice was off. i know it is your opinion but people should stop judging the voice.
I would love for Mario Beach & Mario Highway to be merged together into 1-course with 2-paths. If there was a way to balance the value for taking either of both paths, I would say make the longer-path have a faster-road than the shorter-path, which should or must have a slower-road for the sake of making both routes worth taking. I, to a lesser extent, could say the same thing for Wario Cup, Waluigi Cup and Bowser Cup. But Pac-Man's and Donkey-Kong's 2-tracks can stay apart, since their differences make them separable enough. Yoshi and Rainbow, for granted? I would make both of them 3-sectioned tracks based on how the portal takes you to a different dimension for track's mapping. But my main point here was just about Mario Cup's courses. Just wanted to get my opinion on the other cup-track-merges outta da way! 😅
I want to try it, but I must say the course designs are rather lacking. Most of them have long straight lines followed by either a 90° or 180° turn, rarely using the more curved design from "real" Mario Karts
I don’t think I like the tracks compare to the ones on mainline Mario Kart games. They feel kinda flat, as most seem to be around the same width and have railings that constrict you to the track with no off-road segments or pitfalls.

I actually played this on an arcade machine as a kid, but I can't remember for the life of me where it was, and I've sadly never seen one since.

They really improved the music in Mario Kart Arcade GP DX though. The soundtrack is fantastic and has hidden gems like Sky Arena and Splash Circuit
