@@sethbrock5232 It would be nice, however people have been trying to fix domestic issues for millennia and we still have them. Also wars are bloody expensive things, great big waste of money, leading to debts that can take centuries to pay. Many of the famous famines (such as the Ethiopian one of 1984) have been caused by ill judged wars. Alas whilst we are governed by human beings we will always have wars, it seems to be part of our nature. We're a greedy bunch.

Why? It is the violation of the most fundamental UN principle, state sovereignty and against waging wars of aggression.
Now you can argue that Iraq was the same. The difference is, Iraq was a rogue state with a totalitarian dictatorship, which had already itself violated the sovereignty of Kuwait and Iran in invasions, genocided its own people and used chemical weapons in warfare. Who's invading who here and in the most barbaric way possible that is. Ukrainians are not dying for old rich man's wars; they are fighting for their own existence in the most honorable way. They have no option, it's either that or their culture and identity being wiped out by the reincarnation of Hitler. Of course, all leaders of the world are somehow corrupt, and you can spread your hate all you want against them for that but don't mix things up and use that as an excuse to condone what Russia is doing. In the free world you can at least give the boot to the guy and vote him out as opposed to being stuck for life and beyond with the other option through fake elections and referendums and yes corruption (they are corrupt to the bones as well) that same plague you hate western countries for. Free to you if you like being ruled by a dictator that oppresses in his own people and assassinates his opposition to hold on to power but stop your nonsense painting them as a victim because of your hate for the west. Ukraine chose to open up to the free world instead of being submitted like Belarus, to a bully neighbor.
